    Isn't that like a plumber working on your house whose workmanship causes a major leak and says I'll adjust your bill and I won't charge you for the 15 minutes I took to repair that pipe. I also won't charge you for the copper pipe. But I still need to charge you the trip fee and there is a two hour minimum charge on labor. Exluding the the 15 minutes and the pipe, the grand total is $ 223.23. Have a nice day. hahahahaha I know it isn't the same thing but if a bust was caused by the camera flyer then most teams would be out of contension for any chance at a win. Of course mistakes happen and they can happen to anyone. I'm not trying to say that the camera flyer deosn't deserve special consideration; but for a major bust caused by the camera flyer I would expect more than a sorry I won't charge you for my slot and fee on that jump. Granted I am not a plumber or a camera flyer and so perhaps I just don't understand the nuances of what would be reasonable charges.

    hahahahaha Those restraining orders get more and more specific everyday. Tear it up at the bigway camp and remember it isn't couchfreaks so while lingerie dives are fun it might be distracting for the other participants.     My criteria are does it start with Couch and end with Freaks. If so I go. For other boogies I look at distance and all those other things in no particular order. Of course if Skymama is going to be there that will always be a draw.

    Three tries were made and none of them were successful.     While the SIMS can answer your first question it really doesn't address your other questions. In answer to your second and third questions. A student needs to have an instructor sign off the requirements necessary for an A-license. This can happen durring AFF and on any subseqent skydive where an instructor can observe the required task. However, there is no set answer because it depends on the proficiency of the student. Question 4 - Regarding cost it can be as someone stated above free or an instuctor may charge for slot plus an addtional fee. Of course for a person paying an instructor that usually implies that the instructor will give an extended training session and that the instructor will also provide a valuable debrief. It isn't just a jump. Good luck with your training.

    I may be wrong but I would bet the person was tumbling on deployment for the shoelace to even come remotely close to the lines. Of course it could happen on any reserve ride given the right set of circumstances. FWIW any loose gear can cause the same issue. Thanks for raising awareness.     hahahahaha That was a great suggestion although possibly not what the OP wanted. Although I would second this suggestion. FWIW I have had a Hawk suit, a Bev suit, and a Merlin suit for RW and I have liked them all. They were all quality suits. Good luck with your search.     Your profile says that you are a rigger; however, in answer to your question, yes there will be several riggers attending couchfreaks. Have manifest annouce that a rigger is needed and I'm sure one of them will respond. If you want to ship the rig to me, I can pack it and bring it to couchfreaks but I usually try and avoid working at the boogie. However, like I said there will be riggers available there.     I don't have any pics on display for girls or guys but I am quick to compliment things about my wife when I am in a group of people. I also prefer to show off my wife in person.     At the risk of being embarrassed, there are times when a person CAN'T see their handles and if you believe that a person will always be able to see their handles then you and I have had different experiences in this sport. Of course I absolutely agree that the best procedure is to look first but there will be times when a person could spend the rest of their life looking. Please tell me WHY a person should not use touch if sight doesn't give the desired result. Tell me WHY! Do try not to embarrass yourself with your answer. I'm not really trying to be combative here but your post really came off as confrontational. I hope that by using your own words that you might recognize how they might be construed as stirring the pot a little bit. Of course maybe that was the intent and if so carry on.     I'm not sure what the implication is regarding your statement but there are many world record holders in many different disciplines that jump at Cessna DZs. A lot of high quality learning can take place at a Cessna DZ. As was mentioned earlier by Wildfan, for the same amount of money the freefall time is realatively close but more jumps take place. Regardless of where a peson is jumping, quality instruction is important. Of course all Cessna DZs won't have quality instruction any more than all turbine DZs will have quality instruction. However, at least IMO the exposure to more and advanced methods that prove successful for people learning this sport have less to do with the plane than the instructors doing the teaching.     That trick can certainly make you go up BUT it won't let a person fly. To put things in persperctive, my daughter went to a tunnel when she had twelve jumps. After going to the tunnel, she could control her fall rate, do center point turns, and also do a reasonable side slide. She now has around 150 jumps and competes on a 4-way team in the Northern Plains Skydiving league with Team JETT. At her last meet their team did a 17 point skydive in time. IMO there is very little chance that she could have done that without tunnel time. However another person asked the question if you were still having fun and you replied that you were. Having fun is the key and a person can have fun in a lot of different ways in this sport. However, if you want to develop you skill set quicker in this sport then finding a good tunnel and a good coach would certainly help.
