    The sky will always be there. If it worries you even a little bit that you could get hurt then go on the trip and then skydive.     If hard means meeting the standard and not something else then I would say our AFF program is hard. Again I'm not sure what you are asking for specifically but in general terms a students should advance if they have met the standard and not advance if they don't. We don't require perfection on every learning objective but we do require passing every learning objective. For instance some students turn fast, some turn slow, and some turn too far but then in-control they stop the turn. All of these students would pass but the student who couldn't turn in-control would not pass.     The Army National Guard is a dual state and federal force while the reserves are just a federal force. In the event of a state emergency the governors can mobilize the guard while the mobilization of the reserves would require a federal order. Good luck with everything.     Hell I don't buy camo anything because I could never find it. However, the military made sure that I had matching outfits with all the other guys in my unit so that we could play the ultimate hide and seek together.

    I think the disorienting manuevers were designed to show that the students could regain control during a freefall. If the students were able to show this and they could regain stability and atitude awareness within 5 seconds, I believe that they could be signed off for self-supervision assuming they also met the other criteria required for self-supervision. This doesn't mean that the student automatically passes category E. However it means that any instructor from any discipline could begin working with the student. Regarding the first solo I think that the students do their first solos in category D and like you stated they start with turns.     I love my Quasar and I wouldn't hesitate to get another one. There are many people jumping them at my DZ and the quality of the material on the Quasar is great. As a rigger I see some harness/container systems that aren't as well put together. It is a comfortable rig. The modification that was done to remove the flingers basically added a solid launching surface for the reserve pilot chute and from what I've seen it creates a very positive launch. Last but not least, many extras that other harness manufacturer's charge extra for are standard on the Quasar. If you have any specific questions, send me a PM.     Is this a trick question because it depends on many factors? For instance, is this the students first jump or the students 24th jump? In answer to the question we teach a student to exit with their hand on reserve and to pull 1 second after exit if the exit is low. If the altitude is higher we teach a student to exit with their hand on their main handle and to pull 1 second after exit. If we have a really high altitude we would do a normal linked student exit for an AFF student or if the student was cleared for self supervision we would just have them jump and deploy normally.     Attached is an article written by Relative Workshop BEFORE the invention of the skyhookon the Pros and cons of an RSL. Based on other articles written by Bill Booth recently I would say he is very pro skyhook. I don't know if his views have changed on a standard RSL or not.
