Eight days, minus one sick day already (yesterday). I spent half of the day in the emergency room (food poisoning). Previous was 8 months, 3 years and 10 years. I don't like working.

60-65 hours per week...40 at usatoday.com as assistant news director, 20-25 per week in Air Force Reserve as a police ossifer. -

I jump at Orange, and my military nickname is Magoo. I don't know how that happened. My police chief just started calling me Magoo about 10 years ago, and it stuck. I don't post very often ... I lurk. JENNR8R, Mouth, Jumpjunkie, Weegegirl and Wildcard can vouch for me (I hope)!

So ... as long as I'm awake and at work and bored .... My first cutaway happened on May 13. I had a line over that I could not correct. I spent about 7 or 8 seconds screwing around with it, and went to red at about 3,500. I have a skyhook on my Micron, and I didn't even have a chance to reach for silver. It was already out. Boo yah! Found my main at the top of a tree, found the freebag and skyhook (with cow snot and drool all over it), and stood up my reserve landing back at the dz. It's only been a few weeks, and already I'm having trouble remembering it? Like my brain is blocking it out? Anybody else experience that?

I get there as often as I can ... which isn't much these days between working at the web site and being on active duty at the same time. Were you there two weekends ago? I had my first cutaway!! Woooooo hooooooo!!
