They could always follow me to the abandoned farm where I have my private shooting range. driveway is rough and a car will get a flat tire if they don't have off-road tires. Of course then they might be a little disadvantaged at t hat point. Lets have a vote: How many of us carry a pistol in the car? A carbine? Shotgun? Me personally it is usually a pistol and sometimes a carbine as well. I never have any problems though, I am courteous and avoid conflict if possible. There was however one time where gangstas cut me off at a light and were kinda in the intersection flashing gang symbols. The range was closed so I had 15+1 in the Sig, plus 4 more loaded mags next to it, My friend in the car said I was quietly saying, "please don't get out of that car Mr." I think I was feeling like I did not want to have to kill everyone in that car. My town is overrun with illegals and their gangs, so the gang symbols, the MM type stickers on the car and tinted windows along with it being Mexican Independence day made it highly likely they were intoxicated and feeling pretty aggressive.

Hopefully he is not being looked for being the one responsible... You just never know, the person that detonated it might have actually been in that same cafe.

Place a row of large concrete planters out in front of it, spaced less than a car-width apart - the car would never make it to the roll-up door. Can zombies drive? I didn't think they had that kind of fine motor skills... (pun intended) Decorative 24" bollards sunk into the ground 10 feet would do the trick. I would use some stainless steel pipe and fill with 6 bag concrete, no gravel, just carbon filaments. The drawbridge could be made safe by using a steel grid and running 2000 amps through it for when you don't want someone using it. Lets not forget the natural gas dispensing nozzles at 50 meters out on the perimeter and also a 5 rings of of claymores in concentric circles placed in small concrete housings to protect them from tampering, all you need is a nice little box with a thin stainless or Plexiglas front, start the perimeter at 800 meters out. Also needed is a large pit and a front end loader for disposing of the debris from the zombies that would be stinking up the lawn. Bury a 10,00 gallon tank next to it filled with polystyrene and gasoline mixed into a lovely gel, a pump that is solar powered and a nice spray nozzle with piezoelectric igniter. I would run a series of HDPE tubes under the lawn and have quick connect fittings so you could use it most anywhere on the property.

Need a Recommendation for Decible Meter Software
warpedskydiver replied to warpedskydiver's topic in The Bonfire
DSE also had a good suggestion, but lacking the funds for a truly great microphone that won't get wasted through testing I think I may just send it to a very close friend who works in R&D and destructive testing at a large military manufacturer. You certainly can spend a bunch of cash giving verifiable data to prospective customers. It also makes me suspect of some manufacturers claims of decibel readings and reductions. The blast alone is loud, but up to 70K psi being unleashed is really damaging to the human ears and animals as well. Our country has it backwards with their misplaced ideas of what is safe and acceptable. Suppressors are great for the environment and as well as the public health, plus animals cannot tell us that we are making them deaf. It is just good manners to use one if you live in a free state and have an extra $200 for a tax stamp. -
They should just return the favor

The kind of things not spoken about in BF! Yeah I would be wearing ear pro. Yes instant hearing damage is a given considering proximity and overpressure. -

I am need of software for measuring levels past 140db Shareware or low cost would be nice. Levels need to be tested near 150 and down to around 100db I am hoping someone has experience with the software and can vouch for the accuracy. -

Just a pair of scumbags from Hangover Park IL. Nothing to see here folks move along. They were just doing the job that many Americans don't want to do... -
I plan on jumping upwards off a trampoline at the precise moment the planet disappears.

Are you heading for the mountains? Do you have a plate carrier? Maybe you should get a 6.5 in case the zombies are out at 1000 yds. and a 6.8 for CQC. What kind of knife do you have for close in fighting? Will you use a Katana or a cutlass?

You could have said no thanks but how about a quickie anyways?

Open packet, pour into your mouth, open canteen or place bite valve into mouth, drink water. All done and ready to go. -
Shotguns are quickly loaded if you train for it.

Funnily enough, after I posted this I went back to Shah's thread and read your response - almost exactly the same as mine!

Even though I mainly just lurk now-a-days...whomever said that's awesome! can I just openly say Cora? You would have to submit your request and then be judged by her personal security detail, if approved you would then be sworn to secrecy.

The same one as before, I know what I like

I found out a good friend of mine had a sore throat and finally went to see the doctor, turns out it is stage 4 throat cancer. Please do not put off seeing a doctor.

I do not think they should have taken or lied to the property owners in that video, however it was pretty apparent that the pole and hoop were in a public ROW. It should have been placed 1' behind the walk and then the officials/cops would have to trespass in order to touch it. If that are was unincorporated when the pole was put up, the city would have had to accept it as is, they could not then lawfully pass an ordinance against it.
