Ah, but while we're nit-picking terminology, you have to be more specific with the term "M1". Because that could represent either an M1 Garand which shoots .30-06 from clips, or an M1 Carbine which shoots .30 Carbine from magazines. The Garand .30-06 has more zombie knock-down power, but the clips only hold 8 rounds. The Carbine shoots a weak cartridge, but comes with up to 30-round magazines. Of the two, I don't know which I'd prefer for a horde of zombies... With some of the improvements in powders and bullets the .30cal carbine cartridge actually is a better cartridge today by far.

After I got older I no longer had resentment nor anger over the SEVERE abuse I got growing up. I won't get into details but I hope nobody ever dealt with that. Front switches, on both ! Is that the explanation...& if so, why doesn't it turn on every night, & why the same time when it does ? If you switch the computer off from the front panel and it has been configured in certain ways it can be remotely turned on over LAN or by modem. Usually, by default, computers are sold with settings so that it isn't possible and the user has to turn that feature on. Try switching the power off from the computer by using the switch in the back panel (in the PSU) as that should make sure that it won't spuriously power on by itself. Damn, this makes me sick that Audi was so damned nice. The AWD, the ride, the seats, the extreme power (it was up to 450 with the aftermarket turbos) The damn F pipe cracked and that was all it took.

So we have to choose whether to repair it, it has 186k on it, with a new clutch just got the new hood and grill in a box, it has all four brakes all replaced, calipers too. If you were going to buy a very nice reliable used car with halfway decent mileage what would you buy and why? Something that is about the same size would be ideal. I think our max price would be about 25K The turbos I could afford, the labor is astronomical as it requires pulling the front end off and the motor and trans. 14 hours of labor just to get the engine and trans out.

My apologies to everyone that had to read this mess. I just get aggravated and there seems to be nothing to do about it. So I will get back on the treadmill and just deal with it. If this had only gone on for a few years or just a decade it would have been a piece of cake.

I get totally free health care from the VA due to my level of disability rating. I would give back every measly cent and forgo ever going there if I could only undo what has been done. But there is not a snowballs chance in hell of that happening. This week I had a problem just going down the stairs, I thought I missed a step somehow but realized it was my leg that did not respond right. Maybe it was due to my neck being screwed up at the time (impingement) I am not trying to complain here I am merely tired of this shit. Anyone else here that has been seriously injured and have it cause long term effects knows what I am talking about. This really sucks. Having to take pain meds is a real PIA, having them not help that much is even worse, its like painting a house that was destroyed by an tornado.
