    Seems some people take small positions of what they deem to be authority and use that as their way to get back at those they disagree with or find reprehensible. The funny thing is that they are so certain they are correct in their assumptions. What do you people think about this? Is that a way to conduct yourself and still keep thinking that you hold the higher moral ground?

    I was in Monterey in the winter of 1983, people were trapped all over central CA. We were tasked with retrieving quite a few of them. Boy was there mudslides. The cool thing is I got to see some of the largest waves in my life. Those storms had the ocean really going.

    Bud is great in chili instead of water. Bud also makes good beer can chicken Just don't drink it, but it sure beats Dog Style or Old Milwaukee. Come to think of it, I would drink bud before I would drink MGD.

    Yep many of those jeeps also got the Olds 3400 it had the best low end torque in it's weight class. They use them in rock crawlers. Fuel injection helps at those angles as well.

    That is not what my brother says, the engine will not be different, just the bell housing.

    The engine will be the same though, so when you get the trans and bell housing from the boneyard everything will bolt right up.

    I could see it the flywheel was cracked or if there were teeth missing, but other than that it will not need to be replaced At worst it needs to be machined if there is any warping (doubtful)

    I see you understand, it is not a nice thought but it is the truth. That place needs a clean slate, unfortunately that is,t going to happen unless it falls into the ocean. Look at the land from aerial photos, go to the CIA fact book, the western side of that island is brown, not green like the DR, they chopped down almost every tree and raped the land. No we did not do that to them, they did. We cannot save those who will not save themselves.
