Let's see what did I like to get when I was there? Get him reading material on his favorite hobbies. Magazines that are current. Uhhh you could send him the special pringles can. (You can fit two cans O' Beer in an empty pringles can cause the US does not condone drinking but I DO) Letters and pictures from home and friends. If he is a skydiver have all his jump buddies get together and make a "Miss you" sign and take a picture. It sounds lame but it goes alot farther than you think on those nights when everything just sucks and you need a quick "somebody cares about me" fix. Oh almost forgot...nudie pics that are laminated. Here is a question for you tunnel rats. What is the "average" learning time in the tunnel for basic sit-Flying? I want to be stable and have some lateral movements and such. I know everyone learns at a different rate but is 1-2 hours of coached time enough or would it require more for the "avg" competent begginer? Ok Thanks. HackB A.K.A. "Puppy"

When I read this in the morning paper I got quite a giggle. "A man who got angry with his wife because she wanted to cuddle after sex when what he really wanted to do was watch sports on television was sentenced to death for killing her with a claw hammer." I then proceeded to show it to every woman in the office and told them, "Now let that be a warning to you all!" Every one had a great laugh. Age should be a state of mind not a number. My official age is 26 but damn the world I ain't growin up any time soon! What I have found so far in this wonderful sub-culture is that Skydivers are so much younger than people with the same number of years on this planet.
