  1. haha fcajump. agreed on both points. I dont want to wake up one day and find out it's too late to do all the things I want to do. (Jump by Simple Plan)
  2. Just to be clear....No we were not drunk, No we were not gonna jump it like that, Really appreciate the baglock comment...classy, we thought we had rubber bands but we couldn't find any and yes we are gonna repack at the DZ. Was just seeing if anyone else had started packing and found out they were out of rubber bands. Thanks. I dont want to wake up one day and find out it's too late to do all the things I want to do. 3. Me and my buddy are repacking our rigs....at midnight....and come to find out, we are out of rubber bands. Murphy's law strikes again and of course...a couple rubber bands break. What else could we do...we high tail it to wal-mart, buy the thickest rubber bands they have (which are not very thick mind you), and finish the pack job up by doubleing up the rubber bands. So i guess my question is....Has anyone else ever used regular rubber bands? (and/or had to run to wal-mart to get more rubber bands). If so....what was the outcome? I dont want to wake up one day and find out it's too late to do all the things I want to do. (Jump by Simple Plan)
  4. Welcome to the sky. I just started in the sport myself and like you said it became a passion and hobbie as soon as I left that plane. I also just recently got married so money is tight and will more than likely get that way for you too. Just dont get discouraged and keep jumpin because the cheap jumps are comming pretty soon and it will all be worth it. I dont want to wake up one day and find out it's too late to do all the things I want to do. (Jump by Simple Plan)
  5. just did my second solo of 18 and plan on doing another in about a week or 2. I dont want to wake up one day and find out it's too late to do all the things I want to do. (Jump by Simple Plan)
  6. No they didn't lie when they said it was addictive. At least I can't say they didn't warn me. I was just going to jump one time to say I did it and then I was like..when can I go again!!! I dont want to wake up one day and find out it's too late to do all the things I want to do. (Jump by Simple Plan)
  7. Mad (or happy) props to Beatthedrum (Daniel) for buying me my first tandum skydive for my bachlor party. Now all I need is for you to buy me a rig, altimeter and the rest of my training and I'll be set. lol I dont want to wake up one day and find out it's too late to do all the things I want to do. 8. I am jumping at Skydive Spaceland near Houston. The enviroment is great and everyone there seems to know a lot and really love what they do. I dont want to wake up one day and find out it's too late to do all the things I want to do. (Jump by Simple Plan)
  9. Hey yall. I just stared my training to get my A license. It's going slowly but I will get there eventually. Just got married so my funding is pretty low and I'm buying my gear step by step. Did my first solo about 2 weeks ago and going to do my second in about a day or two (weather permiting). Just thought I would drop a line. I dont want to wake up one day and find out it's too late to do all the things I want to do. (Jump by Simple Plan)
