could that be classed as a mid air collision? (or stuff up) And would something like the photo is showing be reported because it appears to be so dangerous? Edited: Anyone out there who can confirm this photo is real? Tom, Tom Tom, Tommy, Tom Love

As a rule i don't do any spirals, radical stuff below 1500. Kinda freaks me out. But im sure that will change as soon as i have 200+ jumps. Tom, Tom Tom, Tommy, Tom Love

When a parachute opens in the airplane...

over a few beers i heard from my pop that an obsever died from an escaping reserve pc in the 80's. he was sitting with his back to the pilot and apparently the seat pocket of the pilots seat caught the reserve flap. when he leaned out to watch the group fall away the pin popped and he was sucked out the door mincing himself on the door frame as he went. im always weary of my container when im sitting in that position. Please explain! What type of elastic etc. Tom, Tom Tom, Tommy, Tom Love

my reserve wasn't packed so i used a student rig yesterday. since i could just reach the boc pilot chute i decided not to ware gloves. went up to 12K and it was -5+ and my hands went numb around 7K and could hardly feel the grip on the pilot chute. one of the worst jumps I've had so far. WARE GLOVES!! Tom, Tom Tom, Tommy, Tom Love

how many active skydivers in Australia?
Ugali replied to Ugali's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
yeah there are a lot of DZ's in australia. its just that when you jump at one small DZ and pretty much no where else, and see the same people all the time its easy to forget that there are another 2984 skydivers out there. Tom, Tom Tom, Tommy, Tom Love -
i was 6months old june 1986 never seen it, probably never will Tom, Tom Tom, Tommy, Tom Love

people naturally seek out fimilar things and people. thats why you probably see what you could call a "class system." freeflyers hang around freeflyers, RW around RW etc. never had a problem. kinda cool actually. All these different people bought together, for the love of the sky. Like a mini UN (well...sort of)

Remember that if your buddy jumps stoned, not only is he increasing his chances of killing himself, but fucking up people around him as well. Respect yourself and the people around you. Tom Tom, Tom Tom, Tommy, Tom Love

looks like peace of mind is not something i'm going to have if i start FF with a vector II. i came close to having a premiture opening about 6 months ago (on a student rig), found the pilot chute sticking out of the BOC 'bout half way in freefall. scared me and not something i want to go through again. Cheers for clarifying this

did some jumps at wilson airport in nairobi, it was busy as hell, spinning props everwhere planes taking off and landing constantly, landing on the runway or taxi ways was a sure way to bugger yourself. Tom, Tom Tom, Tommy, Tom Love
