    My first 2 tandems were stood up, but i mean on your own... On my AFF 1 i began to flare when i got a "not yet not yet... now" on the radio. After doing a not so perfect PLF my instructor told me that when i began to flare on my own i did so at the right time but he had expected me to panic and flare too fast like many stundents do... and aplogized... Oh well always another jump to try and stand it up!

    I knew before i first jumped i would become obsessed and want to get my license and where am i now? Obsessed, and going through my AFF as we speak. I think some people KNOW, some may just be jumping the gun (no pun intended) but there are some, like me, who knew before they jumped. I have always been fascinated with flight, ever since i was little and this is the closest thing to it! What do you do when someone throws a big planet at you? Throw your pilot chute in defense!

    Hello! I am new to the forums and did my first tandem while i was on vacation in Miami. I LOVED IT! and will be starting my AFF training on the 11th. I was wondering if there are any good books out there to read, or even movies or websites. Im looking for as much info as i can get, so if anyone has any recommendations, please let me know!
