Alain Vejux and Mark Rejhon is announcing a Facebook fund-raising campaign for Sabine Gijzen. Sabine is a skydiver from Holland who got injured on November 20th, 2011 at Skydive Deland in Florida, USA during a World Team skydive event, and paralyzed from the accident.
She is currently recovering at a hospital at Daytona Beach. A major expense that will not be covered by insurance is a special flight back overseas on stretcher, expected to cost approximately $36,000. This does not include other expected medical expenses that are expected for rehabilitation.
Skydiving is a passion that generates emotions, connections, and creates very strong friendships. Sabine Gijzen needs your love, energy and friendship to recover from the accident that happened on Sunday while skydiving and living this passion.
Skydiving friends Mark Rejhon and Alain Vejux is now donating $250.00 each to this campaign (initial $500 total). Donations are appreciated, either by wire transfer or by PayPal directly to . Both Mark and Alain also pledge an additional $250.00 after the first milestone of $10,000 public fund raising towards covering the medical and rehabilitation costs of Sabine.
