Some thoughts after I had a week to get the grin off of my face.
Wind hold sucks....but is absolutely neccessary as far as I am concerned.
People with far more jumps than I have, or may ever have, telling me do's and do not's is great. If I can avoid any of their mistakes from early on, great! If not, at least then they can say " I told you so dumbass!"
When the JM says "look up" , you should. I didn't.
When they preach "ARCH" they mean it....Once again, I didn't
Hanging off the strut of an airplane is the most unnatural thing I have ever done...but the reward is phenomenal.
With good instruction, taking care of minor line twist isn't that bad. Pay attention which way it's twisted.... I didn't
The guy on the radio has a twisted sense of humor....which was really funny when I figured out he was joking...
Hanging under an acre of fabric right before sunset is....well....hell, you all know way better than I do.
Standing the landing up is cool....I would like to make a habit of that....
All in all, I had a blast. The people at MRVS are fantastic, I had a lot of fun listening to all the crazy stuff that happens.
Everyone be safe and have fun! Later!
