Does anyone know how close skydive miami actually is to fort lauderdale? dz.com's finder says 38 miles, mappoint and map quest put it in the 60's. also do they have an aad requirement?? help

does anyone know of a dz any closer to ft. laud, than clewiston or homestead? I guess i've been spoiled in the past.. miami's a lil pricey too :-( any help is appreciated cuz i'm seriously considering selling my gear.. help help

When i first started to jump i was in love with my little skydiving club.. wolf river skydivers in wisconsin.. it was the best atmosphere and the best friends i've jumped with.. i moved away from home to work at a 'major' dropzone who shall remain nameless.. still had the great friends but the politics and attitude disgusted me and pushed me away from the sport... i'm really close to selling my gear and just moving on but aftre posting my classified, i knew that it wasn't right.. long story short.. looking for a chill freeflyer friendly dzor club near lauderdale.. cesna's are still a plane..lol thanks for any help!! my email is jm@djparabolic.com
