    Avatar help

Help! I changed my Avatar from work yesterday, and it still shows up as my old "bearded" avatar. However, the new one shows up when I log on from home. Which one do you guys see. If there's a beard on it, any idea why my new one didnt go into effect? If there's not a bearded mug up there, any idea how to make it show on my work computer? Thanks!! |>.
  3. I definitely prefer paintball, but it's alot more work than laser tag. Did it a couple times, got my but kicked by 12 year olds, and went back to my paintball |>.

    Titanium Removal

I don't think you could walk 10 yards from your door without an opportunity to be felt up The blue on grey is very cool too. |>.
  5. Cool thing to remember, thanks. |>.
  6. Definitely a good alternative to the random design that is usually put on the low lower back. Very nice. |>.
  7. Instant favorite! Today's is just so purdy .
  8. Kira Knightly's little things were shown to good effect in Othello. They rank pretty high up there for me. Another one that always sticks with me, and I'm always surprised by it is Susan Sarandon in The Thomas Crown affair. She's not young anymore, but damn, they're still nice! |>.
  9. I had about 10k worth of debt all paid off last december, and then I was broken into in Januarry, and CLEANED OUT! I'm not that deep in now, but it's still bad, and I'm fighting to get it all paid off within 6 months or so. The shitty thing is that I finally had it under control and done with! Then it's the "pay as you go" theory for me. |>.
  10. definitely time for a new computer. There's only so much you can upgrade without having to change everything but the box. IMO it's better to get the best platform you can afford so that it's more easily upgradeable for longer. |>.
  11. No ethical concerns at all. Just let your friend know that this is much better for you. |>.
  12. It wasn't you I was responding to, in fact, I almost used your original post as something that people should be responding to, and what they should be looking for in martial arts. |>.
  13. Ugh, I hate how every martial arts thread on this forum breaks down into the macho "I can kill in under a second, can you?" That's only part of what martial arts are about, and if that's all your looking for, then don't go for martial arts, go for fighting systems. They're not the same thing. If I visited a Dojo where people talked like you guys, I'd be out of there in under 5 minutes. |>.
  14. Not only will the spiders not get through the armor of the scorpion, black widows are pretty slow as spiders go. Scorpions on the other hand, are not, and they have claws too. We used to do that with rhino beetles and wolf spiders and stuff when I was in grade school. The armored stuff always won. |>.
  15. There are some great ones that do pretty "dramatic" cracking, but do it well and very safely, and there are some great ones that just use very small manipulations. The nice thing is that both methods are effective, it just depends on what you like. I like the blatant cracks personally, I've been helped with several neck/spine problems over my life. |>.
  16. I rarely (almost never) have to incapacitate people in my line of work (accounting). |>.
  17. I did Shotokan Karate for about 9 years. I was mostly in it for the excersize and the fun of sparring. I fully recognized that "light contact, sport" sparring actually trains you to be a worse fighter, but you'd still be better than someone untrained in anything. I had to stop cause of school, didn't have time. When I graduate I plan on taking up something new. Mostly because rounded experience is almost always going to be more effective than just one discipline. Probably not jiu jutsu because I see so many people permanently injured from it and that's just not what I'm into. I want to still have the use of all my joints in 40 years. |>.
  18. Um, you don't "look" like the other guy. The face molds to your own facial structure. It's basically just skin. Edit:: Okay, it's alot more than skin, but the shape of the face is determined by what's under it. |>.
  19. I was reading about this a while ago, I think they really have a good chance of pulling it off and changing someone's life in a very positive way. The interesting thing is that the recipient doesn't look like the old person, the face just molds to the new person's structure. Duh when you think about it, but still cool. |>.
  20. That's kinda cool, takes a second to let your mind just "graze" and then it's no problem at all. |>.
  21. Yeah, I used that one a few times at work. Now I turn it off at the beginning cause it still gets me. |>.
  22. Awesome idea, thanks!! edit: What do I need to view this, and is it possible to save it to file if it's streaming video? |>.
  23. Shit, while the topic really interests me, I don't remember the last time I had an hour to kill for a lecture. Maybe next weekend, thanks for posting it though. |>.
  24. I've got a deposit down with this breeder for a Bengal kitten. Probably this summer is when I'll get one. They've got a long waiting list, but I think it'll be worth the wait. www.glitteringgold.com |>.
  25. But along with being a calorie burner, cause it has almost none, it's also got all kinds of good stuff in it that yes, you actually absorb, and rather well when the vegetable is raw. |>.
