Is there anyway to ensure that quick release screws don't come undone, without locktight because I am nervous to use quick releases for both.....I have a goldmember for my stills and am thinking of getting one for the video also. Also, what are some of the best brand quick releases.

I just bought a new optik illusion I have an Xti and a pc 1000 in a cookie box. I want to top mount both I know people use quick releases on stills but is it common to use a quick release on video as well. how often must you tighten the bolts. and is it a safe bet not to lose my cameras.

Is there a good way to line up the sites before I actually drill holes in my helmet( a z1 evo)...and for anyone who is gonna tell me that i need more jumps, thank you, but I do not plan on jumping until i have 200 atleast. I am just nervous to do the mounting wrong. I would imagine, i only have one shot at drilling, before I start ruining the integrity of the helmet shell.

i am not gonna start jumping it until the end of the summer, I just had some extra money this early in the season and wanted to get a set up... I plan to get atleast 200 jumps total before I begin doing camera. I actually have about 175..but I have not updated in awhile. but thanks for the input.

where did you buy a third party warranty.... and where can I find an authorized dealer to remove the strap...???

I just bought a z1 freefly helmet, and got the chin cup for it. I also bought a PC-1000...has anyone had experience with mounting this camera on a z1. I have a parasport universal mount, but the holes on the bottom do not line up. should I get an L bracket...or a d box.......if i get a dbox with it fit on the z1???
