Too bad (for the Dems anyways) that a seemingly vast amount of them can't seem to understand this simple aspect and change it. Look everywhere and you'll see tons of dems just bitching incesently about Bush, but providing no solutions, nor any inkling of even considering putting the petty name-calling aside to get some work done. I hope Guilliani, McCain, or a mix get in there on the next one. Why in God's name would people take their cars to Walmart for an oil change? What happened to people's ability to do the simplist of tasks? I'm just gonna put this out here...if you take your car to Walmart to get an oil change, you're either stupid, lazy or a combination of the two. Now if it comes up and you're way too busy to do it yourself (I still question this, but I'll give you it), then at least take it to a "real" car place, such as Jiffy Lube.

Kind of funny how you actually feel bad for them in a way, huh? The problem w/ the Dems is that they're all focused on coming up w/ anything possible to destroy Bush and the Republicans, while completely ignoring the country. I think part of it is kids just don't care as much anymore. Maybe work ethic has been replaced w/ TV like skating w/ celebrities...YGBSM! Part of that is the family's fault for not properly motivating their kids to do better and put more effort in, but at the same point, some people are just idiots and don't care...oh well, the world needs ditch diggers too.

Anyone know what percentage of completely normal, 100% law-abiding (except for speeding and shit like that), good old Americans get their privacy completely stricken away as the bad government machine looks through all their stuff? I'd really like to know that one.

Well Mr. CFI wasn't being very practical by flying VFR into the ADIZ and around the Baltimore area, so why should the controllers be practical? It's a tradeoff...flying VFR into something like that is gonna be a pain in the ass, deal w/ it or don't fly.

So it's a bad idea to make people get a driver license, pilot's license, diving license, USPA license, etc? Guess everyone has the right to do all of those w/o any training whatsoever? Guess setting rules and regulations is a bad idea? Wonder how long all the idiots in this world would last if we enacted the lurch transportation system? Shit, unlicensed 12 yr olds flying, sending 14 yr old kids in the vette to the store to get milk...hell, we don't need licenses or regs, lets just let everyone do whatever the hell they want...that system would be so safe and beneficial to us all! First of all, we were talking about a TFR in AZ, not the ADIZ. Secondly I didn't catch it, we're these guys on a VFR or IFR flightplan? The controller said to remain VFR at one point, so I assume VFR. If so, then that's their problem for flying VFR into an area like that. How bout trying to fly VFR into Ohare, or into Vegas, or into DFW. Point is, w/o being on an IFR flightplan, it's going to be a MAJOR MAJOR pain in the ass for both pilot and controllers when doing something such as flying VFR into complicated/crowded areas. Controllers don't want to deal w/ VFR traffic in high stress areas, so I don't necessarily blame them for putting VFR aircraft on wild rides to avoid certain areas. How does this flight have anything to do w/ the TFRs in AZ? Yeah the ADIZ complicates things, not arguing that, but by going in there in the first place, and VFR, the pilot just gave himself and the controllers a big pain in the ass. Secondly, he flew just fine by 1) Communicating 2) Following directions 3) Using some situational awareness and common sense. If someone doesn't have all 3 when flying, why the hell are they flying? I don't care if you have 690000 hours or 69 hours...everyone should have those 3 and know not to fly anywhere that they couldn't keep up w/ those 3.

I definitely had to write my fair share of left-leaning papers in college so I wouldn't get a C or worse on them. I wrote two papers that presented my own opinion (in a couple classes w/ liberals)...definitely got a D+ and a C-...fuck those guys.

I don't know about substantial, but I completely agree otherwise. Totally agree. Well people like Pat Robertson aren't just not following the lines, he's just completely off the scope and a nut compared to 95% of christians. Point being, I think the vast majority of the mainstream christian group of people think this guy is crazy, to at least some degree.

Well if we're talking about intellectul meaning level/amount of education, which seems to be what the majority of this thread is leaning towards, then I can safely say I work for a "company" where thousands of members have at least Masters Degrees, many have PhDs, and on the average, the majority is conservative. This is just my "company;" what about the the corporate world in which upper management tend to have Master Degrees and on the average, tend to be center, if not conservative leaning? Wow!
