Well for one, the latter is illegal, and while talking on a phone or driving while tired do impair your reaction time/ability to pay attention, neither remotely comes close to the physical state and total lack of reaction time/ability to pay attention that comes w/ slamming a 12 pack and driving. If people can't understand that, then they lack what we like to call common sense and an IQ above 69.

Could have saved a lot of money and spent 10 cents on a bullet, or maybe a buck on a piece of rope. Bullet through his head, swinging from a piece of wood, who cares...but nooo, lets spend $100 just on the drugs alone for lethal injection, that makes sense.

6 million innocent lives verse money...hmmm, yes of course, money is much more important (correction...bitching about Bush is much more important) than millions of innocent lives! Thanks for opening my eyes to the wonderful world of selfishness, thoughtlessness, and greed! Maybe I can fit right in w/ some people on this site!

When checking the barrel w/ your bore light, flashlight, whatever, also check the lands and grooves...meaning how good does the rifling look. Are the grooves prominent and rust free or do they look worn down? Check for cracks anywhere, how much play are in the moving parts...do they feel loose? Is the gun overall clean or does it look like it's been sitting under the work bench in the garage for a couple years? Whatever you do, make sure you know how to field strip the gun so you can give a good inspection and not judge it strictly from the "outside."

Even China and Russia are on board w/ the EU and the US on halting Iran's nuclear development and bidding for something like the offshore enrichment. If the "vast majority" of the sovereign world sees a problem with this nutjob and his "peaceful" enrichment programs, then who are we, the idealist citizen, to say they're wrong? Sure there's this dandy notion of sovereignty, but that goes right out the window when other nations feel threatened...and it's obvious more than half the world does, so there's gotta be more to this than just a little misunderstanding. Note: General statement, not replying to anyone specifically.

Good point. If we only look at the isolated case of Munich, then it was obviously the Palestenians who started it. But if you want to look at the whole relationship, then it's exactly like likearock said.

Correct. In a perfectly situation (like this hypothetical one) you'll just get wheels spinning incredibly fast, attached to a stationary aircraft with no air flowing over the wings, thus no lift. In this hypothetical situation, lets say the engines propel the aircraft to it's rotation speed of 170 kts, but then the conveyer runs at the exact same power in the reverse direction, thus the aircraft never gets rolling on its wheels, as the wheels are held in a stationary position. No airflow = no lift. It doesn't matter one bit that the wheels don't provide the thrust.

How do you stop a clown from laughing? Hit him in the face w/ an axe (works way better outloud) What do you say when you see your TV floating down the street? Drop it nigger!

I'd say perfectionist, but that's not really a bad thing (unless you let it ruin relationships b/w you and others). And what's wrong w/ knowing you're awesome and kick unbelievable amounts of ass?

1) Well that's good to know, but growing up in SoCal blows that one out of the water (at least for that area). 2) True, bilingualism is a good skill and should be kept alive. Guess what...people who move to America DON'T need to drop their native language for English, they should become, as you said, BILINGUAL! We agree! 3) Yep, keep the heritage language going, be bilingual and learn your new national language! That's acceptable, but what % of immigrants come into the country in this state? Still a terrible excuse for not at least half learning his new country's language. Everyone should learn the language of their country, whether native or not, out of respect and to help themselves and others in their community. Yeah I'm not gonna hold a gun to their head, but I damn well will label them lazy for not doing so. Because that's al l it comes down to for 95% of them. RECAP: Bilingualism is great; but does bilingualism not include English Bill?

Way to not read my post 5 above yours. It's ok to be lazy...isn't that what this thread is all about?

There's a reason the military uses Colt; they're a damn good company. Anyone who knows anything about firearms knows that Colt makes the best product on the market. Just as craddok said, your AR is worth what it should be in states such as CA and the NE. You'd probably get less in the "non-ban" states since everyone can now buy ARs with collapsible stocks and birdcage flash hiders. However, you still have a Colt product that has continued to prove its superior design. I wouldn't worry to much about its value (especially in those retarded states).

Obviously English is the "official" language of this site. If it was French, I'd either learn French or not post.
-
Well what are some points? I'd like to hear one good, justified point as to why someone who moves to a country for several years cannot take the time to at least half way learn the native language. I don't think there's one justified reason...maybe if the person was mentally handicapped and had a learning disability; I'll accept that, but there's no other good reason.
-
No way, it applies to EVERYONE. If an American moves to Germany for several years by choice, but then refuses to learn the language, they're just as lazy as the next bastard and should go back to America. What a fuckin cop out. Yeah I like the fact that you can get by with English in many countries; that's fine and dandy for trips and such, but when you move to a country for an extended period, I don't care how much they speak English, take some damn time to learn the language at least half way decent. I'm not from Florida. But yeah, Florida can be nice here and there.
-
Well they're forced to be there, I'm talking about people who choose to go to another country, and CHOOSE to not learn the language.
-
People who move to a country for an extended amount of time and refuse to learn the local language (at least somewhat decent, doesn't need to be perfect) should just get the fuck out. If you're too lazy to learn a language after being in that country for a year or two, you should just move your lazy ass back home.

You can buy AKs with pistol grips and regular stocks like candy nowadays, especially the Bulgarian and Romanian ones...so I don't see how they're illegal. The whole foreign parts thing applied with the ban, but we're out of that bullshit ban!!!!!!

The question was worst drink ever, not one of the best drinks ever! Geez, get it right! My worst: Shots of everclear in college...fuck that!

Yeah...such as learning to not side with Saddam. Where's that jab supposed to go?

The whole thing's been going on forever, nothing new. Just some people like to believe in their little fantasy world that Bush is the first and only president to authorize the NSA to look in on people.

It's obvious that nothing he says is going to make you do anything but label him an idiot. And secondly, who is most of the world's leaders?...b/c there's hundreds of them, lets see that list! And on the main topic...I think it was pretty good. He gave his beliefs as to why we need to continue; that's what he owes the people. And he's right about one thing, we can either just leave, screw a bunch of people over and lose, or we can see it out, help people and win something. Quiting and running has never once been a good idea and never will be.

There's definitely an Office XP, so that's probably exactly what she means. And I agree, she probably has basic.
