    I completely agree that it has a lot to do with a students ability to retain information after the mentally challenging AFF levels, that's what I meant by a students "ability to take things in", I probably just didn't word it well. I do think that what skydivermom pays a big part, I wouldn't have liked to do more then 3-4 AFF jumps if I was in a cessna. __________________ BOOM Headshot

    The whole Z licence thing doesn't bother me as its obviously a fabrication, the whole D licence and 4000 jumps thing would bother me as its much more difficult to tell (although combined with post numbers it's easier to gauge). Don't really look at gear. __________________ BOOM Headshot

    To make a ruling like that is unreasonable IMO. Where I did AFF they said to do what you felt comfortable doing. If you are dealing with a student who is physically not very fit, or picks things up slowly then they may do less, someone fit and that picks things up quickly could probably do more.     Another thing to remember is that a keylogger will only tell you what she types, it will not tell you what she reads. Unless of course you track her passwords and log in to her email account. As for telling her you are installing a keylogger, thats just silly, a keylogger is supposed to be secret, not only that but for anyone with any sense it would make it very easy to circumvent (on screen keyboard for example). Be very careful, if you put a keylogger on my computer it would take me about 15 seconds to know about it. That said IT is my job. All depends on her computer literacy. There has been a lot of talk about whether you should invade the privacy of your daughter and whether or not this monitoring is a good idea. Personally I think it's much more important what you do with this information once you have it. I suppose your actions will be determined by what you find.     They teach you the basics (ie arch turns etc), in your first tunnel flight. They also teach you hand signals etc so you can correct your body position. Take a look over in the wind tunnel, ask them there, ask in the instructors section what the AFFIs would prefer, someone with tunnel time or someone without. I debated whether or not to do it before I did AFF, after I came out of the tunnel after flying with a stable heading and controlling turns as well as height, I was 100% positive I had made the right decision. The only downside I was told about doing tunnel time first is it can mess with your alti awareness, but I found the ground coming up at 120mph did enough to make me look at the alti on my wrist http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1737655 __________________ BOOM Headshot

    Firstly what format are the videos in? If they are in the correct format for your ipod, then you go to library click file click add file, done. If not you will have to convert it, I have been using Xilisoft convertor with a lot of success. __________________ BOOM Headshot

    Ask to use ebay's recommended escrow service www.escrow.com They will probably say "I don't want to use them as the charges are higher", so it might be an idea to say that you will pay the charges, if they refuse this, its defintely a scam.     Honestly if she has an ounce of computer literacy, and she is sending mail that she really doesn't want you to see, then without some sort of keylogger you are not gonna find out. Personally I would strongly recommend not using a keylogger, even if you find out she is up to no good, it will most likely destroy any respect she has for you and thus you won't have any opportunity to make her stop anyway. That said you might also use one, bust her, she could regret what she has done and change her ways. You know your daughter better than any of us. __________________ BOOM Headshot

    I did 20 minutes of tunnel time and did AFF in 3 days. If your canopy control is fine and you get the weather, you will have no problems. (that said please take note of my experience) __________________ BOOM Headshot
