stop kidding dude... when someone gets unstable during the pull on a prodigy this person gets unstable with any other suit....the prodigy is close to "idiot prove"... when there was a problem, than maybe because he choose the "wrong" pull habbit for this particular suit.. imagine a guy who only knows a nascar takes a ride with a volkswagen, that looks always funny... i think for a beginner in ws flying the prodigy is the weapon of choice.... and when you can fly it...it kicks ass....

mabe right,...but the itw is a pretty fragile spot for such an attemp. when the ostankino is closed for "official" jumps its one thing...one more big shit with a good chance that somthing went wrong on the itw means that a wonderfull opertunity in yurp is gone forever... we need not another el cap, trollvegen.... to be a BASE jumper and not to know who is carl boenish or brian schubert is like to say : i am a christ but who the fuck is jesus!!!!! there are so many dudes jumping everything and know nothing about the sport, the ideals are when a velcro has to be replaced,.... but they jump a v-1 and aks "funny questions" on the forums...bahh

head up dude... i like to thank you for the work that you put into "The List" over the years..... even when it hurts to see that its still growing.... but i think it had prevent some incidents in the past. when a newbie comes and want to learn BASE jumping ,the first thing that i tell him is to study the list. when he s coming backand still wants to go for it, he has an idea what he is willing to to.... and it has a great memorial value in my opinon... keep it up, it helps the comunity to keep in mind that its a wonderfull sport and not a game..."memento mori" p.s. i liked the reaperphoto, it was pretty scary and it should be....

come on..... its a question of personal choice, thats all.... some people ride a motorcycle without a helmet, jeans and t-shirt...others look like a starshiptrooper. others never get laid without a condom so whats the problem? sure,....bodyprotection is a good idea... but its a free world,...shoud be... you know what is fucking stupid? it makes no sense to make some jumps with and some without armor because : oh,...its a long climb,so i leave it on the ground. puh,...its so hot ,this time it will work without. thats stupid.....you wear it everytime because on every jump it can be usefull....thats an attitude... get real....

thats all whats to say to this messy discussion... james brings it to the point. we need to respect the rules to keep the leagl sites open....everybody of us did stupid shit or made the wrong dicisson from time to time, and thats ok... we try to be flying humans and thats supid enough but a behavior like that bloddy sabre hero put all the other BASE jumper in the wrong light.... i like to know where this jumper usually make his skydives, then i visit this dropzone and jump with a baserig an wingsiut and do infront of the tandempassengers and students a fucking deep lowpull...... then i want to see his reaction ..... i think he starts to tell me that this behavior is not ok and jadajadajada.... bahhh...whatever.....

every year more and more pepole get into BASE so its logical that more fataliys happen... it is sad but true...there will be more... the sport got over the last years some kind of aggressive development.... hardcore tracking, arials, wingsiut.... we are pushing a limit that is already on the limit... but thats ok as long we keep this in mind... memento mori....

on the ITW you can do 1 minute with no sweat...depends on your skill... i heard rumors about 2:30 min flights from this "funghi-shaped i dont know were it is" Exit...

then BASE seems to be nothing for you... skydiving is boring for you because you know nothing about skydiving.... when you want to do BASE, you need a lot of know how and canopieskills...were you wanna gain it? at your playstation or reading books? nobody will give you any instruction or something when you have ABSOLUTLY no Fu... clue "You need to learn to crawl before you can run" -
