There was a video years ago. It showed a skydiver pitch out and a bird (Hawk?) grabbed his hackey and held on for several hundred feet. It created a PC-Bird in tow malfunction, until the bird let go. I saw this video on one of those "You gotto see this" type shows. If anybody has got a copy of this, I would love to add it to my archives. BSBD Home of the Alabama Gang

Without getting into too much detail... (the on-line manuals of the site do a much better job) A pin is retracted at approx ~4K (uses a bladder) this opens the column and the shots escapes. Theory is small shot will not fall fast enough to cause harm. This is why the site warns against being above the ball. The split unit then flutters down to earth without the weight of the lead. I get what my doc called TDS (Terminal Display Syndrome) which, according to him makes my eyes dry out real bad because I forget to blink when looking a a computer monitor too long. According to him the scan rates of a monitor can "fool" your brain into blinking less frequently. Personally it sounds like BS. I use Eye drops regulary (lubricating)and about every 15 minute or so I will try to focus on something further away. It seems to help, don't get the headaches as bad.
