Went on the cruise last week and am now getting hitched to the girl of my dreams. I asked her on the first night in a little alcove on the main party deck. I had a wish bone I had brought with me that we broke about 2 months earlier. She had asked me then what I had wished for and I told her That I would tell her later. Carnival does check checked-Luggage but kinda let the alcohol thing slide. RCL does not. They will conviscate it. Go to http://boards.cruisecritic.com/ and do a search for the smuggling thing. They highly recommend using Rum Runners. For carry on you can use water bottles with vodka. You are allowed one bottle of wine per adult pass. I plan on refilling my wine bottle with something a little better. Edited to add: You are not limited to amount/weight of luggage as long as it fits in your stateroom. Some folks simply wrap the case of water/cokes in duct tape and put lugage tags on them. We are putting a case of water in one suitcase. I am planning on asking my GF of 3 years + to the big "M". We are going on a cruise next month to Cozumel. People who know us have been waiting on this for years but I have tried to wait until the perfect moment. I have never been on a cruise that I did not have to wear boondocks or dungarees and do not know what to expect. I want this to be romantic and a memory we can look back on for years to come. There will be several Skydiving couples (friends of both) going with us and I want them to join in the memory that is why there is an "ALONE' option if that is best. Glad it worked for you. I should have mentioned the o-ring thing. That is one advantage of purchasing the conversion kit is that it is "sized" but an additional o-ring is cheaper than the 15.00 conversion kit. BSBD Home of the Alabama Gang

Have not seen this on DZ.com yet and thought I would post how to convert the military strobe (SDU-5/E) lights to a “newer” configuration that uses batteries available at local stores replacing the now obsolete BA-1574/U battery pack. (Proceed at own risk) Remove the battery cell from the strobe light. You will need to keep the brass base but everything else must go. Gently turn and lift black casing. In some cases I had to cut the casing from around the base. This may reveal the battery cells themselves. The cells contain Mercury so use caution and proper protection. Dispose of old cells properly. If one cell remains in the brass cap gently pry around the edges until it releases. Clean remaining (black) casing from inside the brass cap. Mark brass cap with the “+” sign for future reference. Install 2 CR123 batteries positive side towards brass cap screw cap on tight and voila you are done. Its actually pretty decent. Its programming is talk radio. The morning shows are funny but probably tamer than howard stern. Midday CST they have some playmates talk about there lives and that is very annoying its like listening to Paris hilton types trying to have adult conversations...
