I have TJNK and have packed with no problem: XF2-139 Pilot-150 (this was demo canopy with aerodyne bag attached) now I have XF2-119 and it's nice and tight in my opinion javelin accepts +/- 1 size https://www.facebook.com/1skydive/

from my older post about rebel XT: I have experimented with differents settings and here are the results (350D with 18-55 kit lens and tounge switch): 1. I do not use sports mode AF was no good, backfocusing on exits etc. due to the AF/AE lock overexposure on exit was tipical ISO 400 not the best quality 2. I use S priority (at 500) with CF4 set to 3 on the ground or in the plane I point at something located at the distance of 5-6 ft and set the focus there once the focus is set it remains set for the whole session CF4 set to 3 means that the shutter release does not activate focus and it does not lock exposure every shot has it's own metering I use ISO 200 (400 when it's realy cloudy) wb set to sun/clouds metering mode set to center weighter avg AF mode one shot (efectively I use manual-locked focus at 5-6 ft) drive mode - continous image quality L (jpg) https://www.facebook.com/1skydive/

and if you buy canon: 1. tounge switch will fit without any soldering 2. great wide angle lense (10-22) is less expensive than with nikon btw: afaik there are only 2 brands: canon and nikon forget the rest https://www.facebook.com/1skydive/

nowing nothing about your experience I would suggest pilot or spectre: for safe, predictable, on-heading openings while I was jumping my wingsiut - pilot & spectre opened ok regardeless of my sometimes poor opening positions, I consider those canopies safe(er) https://www.facebook.com/1skydive/

I am 5'10 and rws suggest 306 (16'') my Jav is 17'' and I am not sure if 16'' will be ok??? anybody at least 5'10 with 306 around here? https://www.facebook.com/1skydive/

I want to order custom micron and have some trouble selecting the size v306 & v316 both are good in terms of canopy selection but how about the fit? the lenght of back of the container for v306 is 16'' and v316 is 18'' do you have any comments on the comfort or actual fit of both? Spectre 170 vs Spectre 190 vs something else ;)

I jumped spectre 170 & 190: WL 1.05 @190 WL 1.17 @170 I had some 200 jumps on 170 when I switched gear with a friend and jumped 190 on first jump: it was a bus, big, slow, boring - compared to 170 on second jump: I was so bored that started to play making quick turns - and managed to almost get a linetwist flying below 1000ft still remember that feeling to unswer your question: there is a difference I was making 15-20 jumps each weekend and 170 was interesting enaugh for me for some 300 jumps https://www.facebook.com/1skydive/ -

good news: you can easily edit both to create one movie I did it many times using Windows Movie Maker (free soft) when you capture it doesn't matter what format it was recorded with, it's important what format you save it to disk (so select either PAL or NTSC in options of your Movie Maker and stick to it) bad news: if you firewire PAL to NTSC camcorder and copy the result will not play the trick is to copy PAL directly to your PC, if you copy to NTSC camcorder it is corrupted https://www.facebook.com/1skydive/
