Hey Rem !! I was 20 ft away from your impact and I have to say that was WAY WAY too low, I m super super glad you re getting better now! what a crash ! Good luck on your Rehab! By the way, here is my X Ray from Dubai last november: I caught inside marker on gate 3! Still on Rehab too... Patrick

We even train all year long with 2 complete 4way teams in a porter ... and THAT is already a performance ! Patrick

Hi ! I have only done 1 jump like this but I had never even thought possible to attempt it with a small main. We used for that purpose a big student canopy around 260 sqft. Our total combined weight was around 420 lbs, so not even clsoe to your wingloadings! I am quite surprised that the lineset can even cope with it! Patrick

Ha ha ha !! Indeed the irish are some king of drinkers! Sorry we are not coming to ESL final and I regret it but we are busy going to US nats already. Next year maybe? PS: I feel the same about this damn vodka stuff... Patrick
-
We went there with 4 4ways and 2 8ways (France!) Even more than the russians that host the meet! Patrick
-
Women are more than welcome too Rehmwa, the question is only to be : - decent cameramen - available for 4way at Nats Please do not mix up differents threads... and different meanings... I'm sure you know what I meant ;-) Patrick

Hi there! We are trying to make up 2 french teams to come to Chicago for US nats. We only have one camera yet who will do 1 4way and the 8way... is there anyone around who wants to jump with us on the other 4way? Thanks for your help, See ya! Patrick Patrick

Very true! These wemen are impressive!! They outstand many many men probably most of them! Even though, I just undeline the pure fact that no top team has more than 1 women and no all feamle team has posted above 20... which is far from 23. It is true that female class is young and there is still time to see these team reach open class scores which I hope... No offense meant at all, lots of respect for all ! Patrick

... physiology has it's logic ... and even if you don't believe in physical inequity between male and female just look at the results: the best female teams never scored above 20 average in a 10 round meet whereas open teams score up to 26 on avery fast draw... let's say 24. I don't say that women are bad flyers, not at all !!! I just think that men have a natural advantage over women that makes it even more impressive for the girls who make it into top level teams such as Eliana. I will of course take back my words if a female 4way scores up to 23... Every sport in the world has made female classes, why shall we think they are ALL wrong! Patrick

I hope that you agree about this with me since we did this block 17 together MANY times !!! Patrick

French point of vue: None of the french team I know use the mirror image as their continuity plan so we go for DSS. The tail piece are alternatively being the solo going above. You can either build a compressed and the solo grip both shoulder of the center or have the solo grip one leg and be gripped by the center on his corresponding shoulder. Both solutions are possible. The other question about 17 could also be: what technique for the block move itself? - vertical straight across, having a symetric move from the 3 piece - rotational solution with the vertical above the piece partner (that means on your left if you re american, on your right if you re french) Patrick Patrick

Dedric... always fucking around, when not in empuria, always after a jump or a canopy... I can't imagine now in PD... See ya my friend!!! Patrick

I see that You are talking quite a lot in here Gaillou ! I guess you will show us soon your news skills... Patrick! Patrick

I don't have a sheet I think there were no busts it would have been eligible if the sneaky French did not already score 42 couple of years ago Yes, the record is already held by the french with 42 pts on B F L A N... not as easy as it looks like for a random jump! and yeah, Vladimir-the-twin (Mr.Green) is a monkey Patrick

It's almost time....World Meet 2006, who's it gonna be?
blade replied to GQ_jumper's topic in Relative Work
ALL this is POINTLESS.... ALL sports on earth have a female class, not because men don't want female to share their teams but because everyone but some of you understand the fact that men and women don't have the same physical skills and strengh!! Open your eyes!! ALL sports have accezpted this fact. Do you really think that 4 way has nothing to do with physical skills?? People who say so have never done 4 way above 5 average for sure !!!! ( not even talking about 20 of course) PLease stop arguing about this obvious answer and let just admire those who can fly this fast, no matter if they are men or wemen... Patrick, who will be in Gera and supporting Female 4 way (french of course) Patrick -
Hope he will be fine... These damn blocks 21 can be pretty violent ! I am not starting a debate here but does his helmet protect him well enough? In Europe 90% of RW teams use Z1 Parasport helmet, that cover mouth and nose almost, I never tried on his kind, what do you think? Patrick

Tu feras surement moins le malin si on parle en francais mon grand... You wanna try in French see if you can correct me again?
-
[replyBut, if the french have women of this talent, why hasn't the french open team picked up the very best of them? "open" does not equal "men only" I agree , there is no discrimination against women in French teams but I think the reason why there are no women yet in open teams is that until now no women in France performed that well. The aim is to get the best team possible and of course you know that french open teams score above 20 since a long time and there are a lot of very very talentuous people in RW. But maybe things will change, I hope so. Patrick
-
Of course my point was not to say that women score less than male but the average is significative in term of female only teams for international events... This score gives a very interesting starting point for a comparison don't you think? Patrick
-
8 rounds, I am surprised that the draw is not on NSL because it was supposed to be common with other competitions, including in the US. I don't remember it all but it is neither fast nor slow... Patrick
-
Very impressive average for a female team, seems like the french girls are in very good shape for the upcoming international event... Patrick
-
er...exactly No more comment needed ! ... and even if BFLAN is not so fast fore a random jump it is a 42 point jump... France rules ! ;-) Patrick
-
I bet they won't do 40 points! Even if it is very fast, it is slower than FMPOE or BFLAN that are the kind of jumps that can score above 40 ! Patrick
-
I only said they is very few doubt about their qualification for Gera... nothing about the result itself !! I don't know at all what will occur... I only know that I will do anything I can to be there to support French TeamS !! Patrick
-
There is no doubt at all that they ll win the nationals and thaty they will perform an 18 minimum score at the nationals. IT is the only two restrictions so I am not worried!! Patrick
