My fiance and I need all of the skydiver support we can get, because some whuffos are kickin our ass in a contest. We need your help. Both of us are based at Lincoln Sport Parachute Club in Nebraska. I have a previous thread about wedding contest, but it is Round 2 starting tomorrow, so time for a new posting. We could win a 20,000+ wedding from our local newspaper. Wow, I dont even know what to say when responding to this post as being one of the "cool kids". I went back to this dropzone for their party as well and when that video played it just set in stone why I left that place!!! I left for a few reasons a little over a year ago after calling that place my home dz for about 3 years. One being I was the only female jumper there which is cool but being treated like shit because of it is not...there were days that I worked my ass off packing and helping with manifest and helping keep the place clean on busy days but I was not ever considered staff even though they would 'let me work'. At one point I was told by one person that they dont want a bitch on staff (not refering to my personality because im far from a bitch...he was refering to bitch as a female). Another reason is when I jumped at the neighboring dropzone they never let me live it down, they called me a traitor as well as a long list of other things. I know that every dropzone has their problems, but this jaded way they run their business hurts more than their business it obviously hurts the people that used to call this place home. One of the "cool kids"

What are the jump tickets price? does anyone know yet?

The boogie was awsome, even though Im on crutches now....advice do not land on cement!!! even soft landings on cement are bad if you roll your foot!!!! Im already excited for next years boogie!!!! Thanks to everyone who helped make this boogie a success

Haha no portable wind tunnel for ground training...even though that would be pretty cool. But you can buy some really cheap tunnel time at our boogie :) See you guys on friday night, glad you decided to come down

We did switch the hangar that we will be in this year. We have one that is closer to the camping area, there is no AC. The hangar is also a little bit smaller so if you have a packing tent bring it along. We have some we will be setting up. Its going to be couch freaks style for packing. Yes we will be having hit and chugs for the last loads of the day!!!

Donkey polo kicks ass!!!! My team made it through the 3rd round this past weekend in WW and we were the last skydiving team left.....I will dominate if this event happens next year
