The world is greater than you, turtle. Sometimes you refers to a much larger group. But you specifically keep fighting against, or certainly not supporting restrictions and regulations around firearms and people are dying as a result of it.

Who are the "deep state" and why would Musk dismantle them? And is dismantling the deep state the same as ensuring the funding bill that got passed didn't have a provisions that hurt him financially?

I think there is a lot of room between: almost no controls around the acquisition and carry of firearms and nobody is allowed to have firearms. A police state is not the middle point there. I strongly believe in the right to own firearms. I also strongly believe that it comes with a mountain of responsibilities. Clearly the only way to enforce those responsibilities is to legislate them. You have shown not to be able to do it by yourself and children and families are dying as a result of that.

Why do you think only 100% effective means success? Pretty dumb. So on base the police have guns and the "population" does not and shootings are exceedingly rare. General public, police have guns, the "population" has guns and shootings are exceedingly frequent. Turtle: more guns is the answer. lol

Well, the 2nd Amendment allowed a mental case to own as many firearms as he wanted. Even here you have to be delusional to not challenge your own preconceptions. Like jay bird, you are a weak, weak man.

Correct, our system still isn't the best, nor is it currently in great shape. But, we won't get bankrupted having a medical issue.

Because it has to do with general knowledge, not shooting things. QED is an abbreviation of the Latin phrase "quod erat demonstrandum", which is translated as "which was to be demonstrated". Means what you said demonstrated his point.

The only freedom you have that I do not have is around what firearms you can purchase, how easily you can acquire them and where you can take them. Oh and you can say how much you want to kill those black people, or jews, etc. That's the freedom you are fighting so hard for? Being able to call a black guy a nigger. That's your big freedom. You get to call him that while holding a gun in your hand. That's how you fight the oppressed....again, you are a weak man.

in Rwanda and Haiti the government has almost zero control. I doubt that is what you want. So the government having soe level of control is probably a good thing. The question is how much, and what checks are in place. Well, the current problem in the US is that elections can more or less be bought and controlled. You now have President Musk and his puppet stand in, together with a whole host of billionaires in cabinet. Do you really think they are going to shift government in such a way that the middle class will grow and the rich won't get as rich?
