  1. There is some reporting out there suggesting Kirsti Noem for Homeland Security Secretary......
  2. You are likely shifting timelines and using current knowledge to critique decisions made prior to that knowledge. No doubt mistakes were made, but that doesn't equate to malice.
  3. Yes, by saying what people want to hear so he gets adulation in return. Bread and circuses.
  4. But Trump added more debt than the Biden administration.
  5. I mean you could not shoot up heroine or use fentanyl. I will leave open the option your mother was forcibly injected. Hopefully she didn't start with a prescription opioid, cause you just voted for less regulation. Again, you either believe in personal responsibility or not. When you pick and chose depending on how it works out for you, well then you don't have much of a backbone.
  6. also why blue states faired better than red states. Sorry you weren't willing to sacrifice for the greater good. I think somebody once said something about ask not what the state can do for you, but what you can do for the state...or something like that.
  7. A post before this you claimed it wasn't a state issue. Holding a federal government responsible for the decisions of a state government seems pretty stupid to me. Unless of course you want an authoritarian government.
  8. I am taking the factual position that crime rates among Americans is higher than among illegal immigrants (adjusting for the illegal crossing of the border). Immigration is good. Growth is good. And as you likely soon will find out, WalMart prices are pretty decent. You're on a skydiving forum, I thought you knew all about personal responsibility. In the end you are all socialists. You don't want the state involved, until you want the state involved. Big on personal responsibility, until it affects you directly, then you want other people to be responsible.
  9. Nothing in there says you have to be locked in your house.
  10. " When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people." Not that I am very sure facts really matter to you.....
  11. An what if the homeless don't want to be moved into these camps? Guess we should build a fence around it so we can monitor who goes in and out. We can then get a new department to help states secure these sites. Maybe we can call it State Support.
  12. So you would be in favour of releasing many black and Latino prisoners in southern states? Political leaning of a state or jurisdiction has never been an issue for Republicans before. Now it is a reason to change everything. Of course all while shouting that institutional bias or racism isn't a thing....
  13. You ever been in an environment where you know violence could be imminent at any point and that said violence will 99% work out badly for you? Maybe walked into a Vagos bar wearing red? something along those lines? Cause, I would prefer that the women in my life, and really all women, don't have to feel that way. Many do, and these antics make it significantly worse.
  14. Oil prices aren't that high. Higher than when Trump was in office, partly why you are seeing record production. But not high enough that all extraction is profitable. For instance the oil sands are barely profitable at this price. And that is established production.
  15. Ah yes, telling a woman to relax. Such a wonderful attitude. I hope the women in your life haven't suffered any sexual abuse. I know for a fact that if they had, they wouldn't be safe to have that conversation with you. Disgusting.
  16. Well they are. If they weren't a commodity, they couldn't be bought. But you can buy permits and you can lease land. Equivalent argument to the toddler with cheeks full of candy holding up its hand for more. For your argument to hold any water, you first have to show nay evidence that the 12 million acres do not contain oil and gas. Or if they do, how new acres would provide cheaper extraction.
  17. That is something different from "dry wells" like you suggested before. You really are just throwing shit at a wall to see what might stick. However, if oil production isn't economically feasible for new projects, then how exactly is adding more projects the solution?
  18. The way you position this question shows you have zero understanding of the subject. What you are looking for is some kind of gotcha moment, not an understanding or willingness to learn about a subject. Generally when current supply outsizes current production adding more supply isn't productive.
  19. Then it should be pretty easy to show evidence that those 12 million acres do not contain oil or gas.......
  20. If that is what you got out of this, then you need to learn to read.
  21. God I hope you don't have a wife or daughters. If you do, I highly suspect they don't trust you enough to have an honest conversation with you regarding sexual assault. 1 in 6 women in the US have been subject to completed or attempted rape 1 in 4 girls in the US will be sexually abused before they turn 18
  22. 9,000 unused permits. If they found a dry hole, the permit would have been used. You really are not a serious person and generally have no idea what you are talking about.
