Some of them get it -- Sullivan Before the Election
SkyDekker replied to base698's topic in Speakers Corner
The US started their transition to a fiat currency in 1933 and completed it in 1971. Was it the Vietnam War that drove the US to end the gold standard in your opinion? It certainly wasn't at war in 1933. -
ok. How long will it take for the oil companies to implement the 9,000 permits to start drilling on the 12 million acres that are available to them?
-
there are approved permits for 12 million acres of land that are currently NOT being drilled. Making more land available doesn't improve production at this point.

9000 permits 9000 permits on 24 million acres, of which 12 million acres have not been drilled on yet. The irony of people complaining about the rich, while parroting the noise from the rich is sad. -
The guy who made his money and status by stiffing lower class people. How does that fit in with your "luxury belief system"?
-
definition of "luxury belief system": "A luxury belief is a term used to illustrate an idea or opinion that confers status on members of the upper class at little cost, while inflicting costs on persons in lower classes." So you vote for Trump. A person who has a long history if stiffing lower class people, who has a long history of not paying taxes and for whom status is extremely important. Smart!
-
oh, well that changes everything.
-
they have nothing to do with each other Free speech has to do with the government restricting speech. Slander is something completely different.
-
The U.S. has more than 24 million acres under lease to oil and gas companies onshore — close to half are not producing. So adding more acres isn't the issue. Approving the drill permits is...which Biden did 50% more of then Trump.
-
I am utterly shocked that was the only word you understood.
-
Yes I figured you walked here when I saw the scraped knuckles.
-
Or maybe it isn't black and white? Maybe there are all kinds of nuances and you have to asses each situation and form an opinion. Putin could prefer Biden because Biden would like act more predictably than Trump Putin can also prefer Trump because he is so much easier to influence and manipulate Just one of many, many nuances.

I get it. I will be enjoying the leopard ate my face posts. Let me know if you need me to google that for you?

Yeah stating somebody has no balls is a huge compliment.

I thought we had to pay attention to what he is doing? Cause every time he said something very extreme, people would argue he didn't really mean it that way and that we should go by his actions. Now you are saying we shouldn't go by his actions, but by what he says. Basically you will lick his boots regardless of what he does, cause you can't have an opinion for yourself. It is why you weren't present here until Trump won. (removed personal attack)

and yet here you are wondering what we think......

And yet mathematicians saved thousands if not millions of lives. Turing Tutte There are probably people on this forum who should thank those gentlemen for their own existence.
-
it sure does. Often more than one Administration. Specially considering leasing the land doesn't yet grant you the right to drill, need another permit for that. Which makes the following pretty interesting: Federal Acres leased in first 19 months of term: Obama 7.25 million Trump 4.4 million Add to that the fact that Biden approved 50% more oil and gas drilling permits in his first three years in office compared to Trump's first three years in office. Certainly seems you have Democrats to thank for these record production numbers......
-
You were wrong last time you said this too.
-
If you think that counters the argument that the rise of Trump is very similar to the rise of Trump, you are entirely missing the point.
-
by following a guy who shits on a golden toilet and who has devoted his life to getting as rich as possible.

sure, as would I if I had such a company. Good defensive move. That doesn't mean they know it is coming, they are risk managing. As they should. That does mean that in small and mid-size companies that have to buy inventory now, cash will be scarce. So, wouldn't be counting on bonuses come Christmas time.

The difference between causation and correlation hasn't been a strong suit. So my guess is that the Trump victory is now validation for every opinion they held. I am sure Tucker will soon claim that this proved abortions cause hurricanes and demons invented nuclear bomb technology.

You can't even define woke. Yet you are so sure it is a problem.
