I totally agree with Kris on this one. Rod flew the hell out of that Bell and gave you every pennies worth. Cool dude to boot. That is still the best ride I have ever experienced to this day and I pull out the vids at least once a year. We miss you Rod. Please come back. Josh K. You may have an issue if you are editing files from the external directly into the program you are using. Framerate will drop unless you move the files you plan on using for editing onto the internal drive before using them. You should consider moving word files, pics, and music onto the external drive and using the space you free up to store the vid you plan on editing. Even though USB 2.0 is fast, it isn't fast enough to transfer large video files that are being used in most modern editing software (Premiere, Vegas, Avid, etc). Hope that helps... Josh K. Kim Dear's Birthday Tandem student from Quantum Leap
PsychoBroJosh replied to joewantaharley's topic in The Bonfire
Happy B-day Kim, I am glad you have decided to make the jump after all that you have been through. I lost friends in the crash as you did, I know they are smiling as they look down right now. We are all proud of you and praying for you to join us all in the air soon so we can get to know our newest friend. Good luck on your recovery, focus on your goals, and never give up. Keep the faith Kim... we will see you soon, and hopefully, often. Josh K. "Rice is great when you're hungry and want 2000 of something" Mitch Hedberg '68 - '05 -

man Jen, thats cool as shit. The info I mean, not the problem...lol I will get my kids in there right away, my sister actually had that, or something like that, when we were kids and we got it treated by the time she was about 4-5. I have a pair of Irish twins here... one girl, one boy. How much would an exam be if the child is over 12 mos? Would it still give you the same results at that age to diagnose it? edited to make sense, lol Josh K. "Rice is great when you're hungry and want 2000 of something" Mitch Hedberg '68 - '05

It looks like there are more announcements posted there now. Flygirl is right, please take time to sign the guestbook while you are there. Josh K. "Rice is great when you're hungry and want 2000 of something" Mitch Hedberg '68 - '05 -

It won't be immediate, but the $2.50 tailpipe whistle is some of the funniest shit I have ever seen. Just follow him for a few minutes after it is installed and you won't be able to breathe... Good Times. I like PhreeZones suggestion for immediate satisfaction. Josh K. "Rice is great when you're hungry and want 2000 of something" Mitch Hedberg '68 - '05

Prayers for skydivers and their families in Sullivan, Missouri
PsychoBroJosh replied to windcatcher's topic in The Bonfire
Although I did my training there, it has been some time since I have been out there... just sucks. I personally knew at least 2 people that died at the scene (the only two that were confirmed for me) and they were great people and I will miss them and their positive attitudes. My heart and prayers go out to everyone at Quantum and their families. In my six years of skydiving, I have only known a couple of people that died, none as close as these guys... Man, this sucks... really hasn't even hit me yet, I am sure it will. Just stunned. Unbelievable Fly Free... Josh K. 7 WFFC Vigil (mis?) fires on the Jet
PsychoBroJosh replied to PsychoBroJosh's topic in Gear and Rigging
So.... Does anyone know the perameters that made the Vigil fire in this case? Still don't have an answer. Josh K. "Rice is great when you're hungry and want 2000 of something" Mitch Hedberg '68 - '05 -
Stay away from the small plastic knives at all costs man... Check out the post below by a new jumper that had a mal and had to use his to cut himself free... Agreed. I've been very grateful all 3 times for my D-handle. Easy to grab when you're in sh*t. ----------------------------------------------------------- 3 cutaways in under 200 jumps... hmmm... maybe time to get a new packer. Josh K.
