My SO actually has a ticket to the shuttle launch. She did an intern for NASA a two summers ago and has kept close ties with them, which has paid off. She is really excited about it. I'll post some of her pictures when she gets them. She just hopes it launches Wednesday or Thursday because she isn't going to stick around for the Saturday and Tuesday windows. 3:2 Saturday was another awesome day. Started tracking and it was a blast. Sunday was another great day. Did my first 4 way (in the air that is ) Going to California this upcoming weekend and am going to try to get to Perris for a few jumps and some tunnel time. That sounds fun even though I don't know a darn thing about magnetic base drills and what not. Although I do know I love tapping holes too. (Insert devil smiley here, i don't know how.) It's Friday and my mind is in the gutter, sorry. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. I'm sorry what did you say? I was with you until I saw the word boobies and then I lost my train of thought. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."

No no boobies and spankings are definitely ok in the men's forum.

I think that is actually on the market now. Everyone is right put your alarm clock on the other side of the room. Because of Crew (rowing and coaching) I've been getting up around 4:30 for the past 6 years. I had trouble getting up on time, but after I put the alarm clock on the other side of the room my problems ended. Now if I manage to sleep in until 6 on the weekends I'm happy. 3:0 Great weekend. On Saturday I did my first bomb out exit which was fun, worked on barrel rolls and forward movement. The 2nd and 3rd jump were great as well. Sunday the winds were high so no jumping. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. If you have a nipple ring and you skydive
WatchYourStep replied to peacefuljeffrey's topic in The Bonfire
God that would hurt. I've got both of mine pierced and never have had a problem. I use to be big into paintballing and went the day after I got them pierced. I got shot twice in the same nipple that day. That hurt. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. When is the best time to book airline(southwest) fights?
WatchYourStep replied to Anvilbrother's topic in The Bonfire
If you book your ticket online you get a guaranteed seat. I've been doing it for a long time now and have never had any problem. For example I'm going to see my SO in 2 weeks. She is in LA for the summer and I'm in Kansas. The total trip is costing me $220 roughly. Can't beat that deal. Go to www.southwest.com and make your reservation. They offer $99 internet specials to a ton of places. They fill up quick, but it is worth a shot, and it doesn't matter when you travel. If they haven't filled the number of internet specials for each flight they are available at $99. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. Well it's Friday and I only have 6h 51m left of work. I was just thinking of funny movie lines. Share some of yours to give everyone a laugh. www.imdb.com Has a quote section so you can just cut copy and paste them. Super Troopers Farva: Hey, let's pop some Viagras and issue tickets with raging, mega-huge boners. Thorny: You know, Farva, only you can make a dark man blush. And no, we're not doing it. The Life Aquatic Steve Zissou: Don't point that gun at him, he's an unpaid intern. and Steve Zissou: That pregnant slut is playing us like a cheap fiddle! Airplane Ted Striker: Surely you can't be serious. Rumack: I am serious... and don't call me Shirley. and Captain Oveur: You ever been in a cockpit before? Joey: No sir, I've never been up in a plane before. Captain Oveur: You ever seen a grown man naked? "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. She rows for UT the club not the D1 program. She rowed at Austin Boat Club last summer I believe. Do you know Caroline O'Hara? Where do you row in Texas? My girlfriend is from Texas and her sister rows at Texas. I enjoy talking about rowing, which is probably why I coach. Rowing in a shell with a group who work well together is an unforgettable feeling. I'm not much of a fan of the fall. Although we have had a Women's 4 in the top 10 for the past few years at the Head of the Charles, but they all graduated last year. We get really geared up for the spring. Being on the line next to your opponents. Just typing about it I get goose bumps. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. After reading a previous thread it got me wondering how many rowers or former rowers are here. Chime in and give a little bio: Where'd you row in college? Are you rowing in a club now? Highlights? Rowed at KU in college Coaching Crew at KU now Took 3rd at Dad Vails in the Men's Light 4. Rower- We go to Natchitoches every year for the marathon. Head of the Hooch is the regatta in Atlanta I was talking about. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. Awesome! I rowed for four years in college and have been coaching for a while now. I never did a marathon on the erg, but I did row a marathon in a coxed 4. We used to go to Atlanta for a regatta in the spring, but haven't been in a few years. Check www.row2k.com classifieds for some used sculls. Sorry about the thread jacking. I'm done. I love cycling. It's so nice getting done with a long ride and laying on the couch afterwards. You don't realize how tired you are until you stop riding. The Tour starts in a few days. 1:1 1 on Saturday which was a blast. The winds didn't co-op very much so I was happy with just getting one up. Practiced forward movement which went well for the most part. On Sunday I was up on the first load and I'm glad I made it because after that the winds picked up for the rest of the day. I also had my first solo unassisted exit, which went well. I worked on backloops which was interesting to say the least, but I know I can become stable from a few different positions now Only 120 hours until next weekend. I've now moved on the coached jumps in my student training. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience.
