Skyfest Rocked last year, just think what this year will bring. If you think that Spaceland can handle 500+ people for 10 days rock on. I guess that is up to Steve and you. I'm all for it, I will start collecting cans and copper to pay for the extra 3 days!!! So will we get free beer for 10 days!!!! Sus and I miss you shari, get well soon!!!! NEWS FLASH!!! SUZ IS GOING THROUGH HER STP PROGRAM!!!! Now we will both be jumpers and all our $$$$ is gone?!?!!?? lol And my sister and her boyfriend bought there 2nd jump for $99 and are comming back with friends!!! Hay folks, I know exactly how these guys feel...I just got my new complete rig in, want to jump it like a mo fo and all you get is crap for weather, I did the exact same thing but not that low, 4500 out of a cesna wanted some "quality freefall"and was open by 2000k and have 78 jumps, I was called out for that, I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. But what yall did I would not ever do. I belive this gives all of us skydivers a wakeup call, be safe, PLEASE,you can live another day for clear weather and jump all you want. Merry Christmas!!!

Spaceland is making a huge effort to give back to the jumpers by making this a safer and nicer place to skydive and hang out. This is a great opportunity to come make some great skydives with world-class skydivers. We have organizing for Relative Work and Freeflying. Yes I said World Class Skydivers. Who would want to get organized by a nobody when you can come to Spaceland and get organized by National Champions and learn new techniques and fun dives to practice? For all the freeflyers we have Anomaly (gold medallist OPEN division) who will be designing some cool dives for both bellyflyers and freeflyers. We also have a $50 prize for the best-jumped costume. After hours we will have a costume contest which will reward the best costumes with FREE SKYDIVES on Sunday. There are also some other prizes to giveaway (coach jumps, pack jobs, etc.) Saturday night DOWNWINDERS (deli) sponsored a ROCK BAND that will start at 7:30. Live music, kegs, prizes, bobbin' for jello shots and the World Series on the BIG SCREEN...who would want to miss out on this kind of FUN? This note is just a reminder that we will be sending out invitations next week. If any of you still want to attend but haven't registered now is the time. Below is all the information you need. We hope to see you there. Skydive Spaceland will host another 40 Way sequential weekend December 10th-11th, 2005. The Plan will be to make 14 jumps over the weekend: 8 dives on Saturday and 6 dives on Sunday. The cost will be $21.00 per jump. Our focus will be the same as we have done in the past, with intricate 1st points and challenging transitions. We will also "mix up" the exit orders every couple of jumps so everyone has the opportunity to float, dive, be in the base or go last. This is an invitational event. You must register for this event at http://www.texasstaterecord.com . You should update your personal histories while visiting the web site and then select the 2005 40-Way Sequential event to apply for this event. Your log-in User ID is your last name and your Password is your USPA D license number without the D or D-. The Captains will review your jump information and match jumpers with slots from the event applications. Invitations will be sent out on November 10th. Yes, Yes indeed, that was my best day at spaceland ever!!! I am sure they will get better too!! Chanman, if you are going for your SCR this weekend please let me know the date, I want in on it. The next time I show up at spaceland I will have 3 pairs of closes, running shoes, and a gatlingun!!!! You guys are going to have a battle on your hands, but I still would like to stay a maggot till next skyfest so I can get in on the big beer poor. Hay buy then I could try my SCS. You guys are so fun to get to know as friends and I know I have finally found the “sport” I was intended for, I suck at stick and ball sports!!! I am trying to think of a cool slogan to put on my posts. (I know its dumb). How about this one : "When in doubt, throw it out." ( it being the pilot chute) It is kind of catchy, but is it right? I hope yall will tell me. Thanks for the help Big Rob

Instructors are very nice and knowledgeable, friendly staff and fellow jumpers, nice clean every thing!!! Equipment is nice and clean, owners are extremely nice. I highly recommend this fantastic drop zone. RER
