Because I felt it was something that could have been of value to him and us. Of course if the man had a class to teach I understand but would have thought he had a very experienced staff capable of handling any eventuality that might turn up at his DZ due to his conference director duties.
It's not easy running a DZ and a conference at the same time and as he goes along gaining experience and learning what his conference expects from him he'll improve. I have watched him operate and feel that if there was a problem or even if I needed a favor at one of his DZ's 200 miles away he'd be there. After all, he has been in the past when he wasn't a conference director.
