    I counted last night, and I've jumped at 17 DZ's in 109 jumps. 4 different ones by my 1st 18 jumps. I think it's great to get out and experience different places, but it is kind of difficult to jump between DZ's while you're working on getting off student status. I would suggest trying to finish getting your license at one DZ, if at all possible, then go be a whore all you want! As for being treated like a traitor or anything...nope, it's never happened to my knowledge. I always feel welcomed back when I go to a DZ I haven't been to in a while.

    Chaoskitty just pointed out to me that you can't travel with a CO2 cartridge on a commercial airplane. So any of you flying into the boogie should look into finding a different way to get your water gear there... Just wanted to pass along the heads up.

Another reason why I always put my gear in my locked car when I'm done jumping for the day, regardless of what DZ I'm at.     Are you moving farther south?? If so, yippee, maybe I'll actually come visit you since you won't be in po-dunk Tennessee anymore! Ohio can be pretty po-dunk too.     I'm with J, I recommend that you go south to Florida and hit Atlanta on your way! I've had some pretty good road trips, went from Cincinnati to San Francisco with my dad via the northern route - Wisconsin to S. Dakota to Idaho and Oregon, then south on the PCH. Stopped at Mt. Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Yellowstone, etc. Wanted to hit Glacier, but ended up doing that on another trip - too far out of the way in the time limit we had, but totally worth visiting! I've also been on road trips in the south (NC to Florida to Oklahoma and lots in between) and Dallas to San Franscico, with stops at the Grand Canyon, Vegas, LA, etc. Totally different. I prefer the northern route, b/c I think it's prettier, but that's just me. Both are interesting, depending on what you want. If you get a chance, go to Yosemite too. That's by far my favorite.
