I won the January Subscriber prize, a pair of freefly pants. However, being ill and having spent half the time since in hospital, I didn't claim my prize. So half a year later I email and ask: "Can I still claim my prize?" And get the response "Course you can, send me through your order form and I will get these sorted for you" Just wanted to thank Liam from Deepseed in public

Jesus and Germano - Skydive Lillo crash - 30th May 2008
SkyDane replied to pevvers's topic in Blue Skies - In Memory Of
It's been a while since I've jumped at Lillo, but my heart stopped for a second when I read about the crash. My condolences to everyone involved. My thoughts are with you. -
Hey! No pm's! She can't judge on her own. I'm sure she needs our help. Just post the pictures

Please push tandem student, literally?
SkyDane replied to loli-75's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Don't be too impressed. I only wanted to do one jump. But the only thing I found more scary than jumping out of a plane was jumping out of a plane and not be in control (i.e. having the tandem master be in control). Therefore I chose a staticline jump (the only option for a first jump apart from tandem here) even though it meant I wouldn't get any freefall. So in my case.....not impressive at all -
I would like to try some freeflying and would like some suggestions on where to go and who to see for good coaching. Obviously I want to learn but it is just as important to have fun. I am no natural at anything skydiving related, so it has to be a patient coach. I'm not too interested in instructors recommending each other. I'm much more interested in hearing from newbie freeflyers. Who was your coach and what was good about him/her?

Thank you for clearing that up for me
