that was the first thing i did. then i went to my brother... then my Aunts,uncles,cousins,grand parents, second cousins, friends, friends of friends, and now im using my military skills to plan a bank heist..and possably a kidnaping or two...JUST KIDDING!!!! seriously though...the reason why i posted this was to see if there were any avenues i missed...does anyone know if there are grant and loans for business after they get started or just Bail money for struggling businesses...hell if i get the loan whats the possability for a small business line of credit? first of all I want to thank you all for your advice!!! ok here is my situation I was working for a guy who owns a small vending company (sole proprietorship) and he talked about selling. I asked questions and since i was working for him on windy rainy days I was able to look at every aspect of the company, even the books. we soon came to an agreement. the agreement was $350,000, lock stock and barrel. He has contracts with schools, large camp sites, hotels, and many small business owners. all told his assets are about $420,000 and thats was priced as used not new. he is holding a note for $150,000 and i am asking the bank for $200,000. The bank has told me they want me to have between $20,000 - $50,000 for my involvment (start-up) I am classified as a start-up business even though he has been in business for 15 years. The Financial information was taken from his tax returns and im afraid he definitly did not claim his full tax burden. I dont even think he realized exactly what his company makes because he pays all his bills in cash. so here is my prediciment. I just got out of the Marines and working for a local drop zone. I get a bad weather job and turns out to be a gold mine for me. I know im not going to all of a sudden make six figures, especially after the bank gets their cut. but I will work long and hard to get what I can out of it. and most of all i will be working a successfull business on my terms and no one to bitch about but myself I know i wasnt financially prepared to buy a business but I am prepared to make all the sacrifices I can to make it mine. well if there are any other questions...im sure there are plenty....but im sure i got 98% of everything covered...just trying to get the last 2% done and off my mind THANKS AGAIN !!!! Ok lets see if this works I need advice conserning a business I am taking over. I have a business plan at the bank right now. its been fully researched and the plan has been reviewed by the Small Business Development center and is ready for approval. but i need to find investors because I am a broke skydiver and i wasnt borne into a wealth family. So if you know where to find investors or another angle of attack...please chime in. you guys are the smartest group of people i know im sure there are people who have run into this problem too. thanks guys. you have been a big help. I talked it over with the DZO and this is very do-able. just got to get it off the ground now, and thanks to your input we will. Ill try to post a copy of the first one....shit I'll owe beer :D I found a decent burner that also does VHS at a best buy. do you think it would be a good idea to have both or just the DVD? 90% of people have DVD now but there are a few with VHS still. cost $224 I am the light my son...What you seek is fire

I'm helping a Friend, who has been operating a very small DZ, start a video program. im sorry to say that he has no equipment for mixing and editing so we need to get some relatively inexpensive gear. My goal is to send his customers home with a quality product that they will be able to share. since the world is using DVD for the most part it would be nice to go with that format. I have read the arguments for linear editing and NLE and linear would be best. I have a laptop PC so i don't think it would be very handy. I have read a quite a few posts here and got a laundry list of equipment but it seems to be for operations that have already got off the ground. ANY SUGGESTIONS? maybe I missed it but i didnt see anyone mention that todays military knows full well that if you tourture someone they will tell you what ever you want to hear. but if you scare the shit out of them, or give them an incentive to tell you what they know, more than likely they will without imbelishments. I come from a military family (I still have family from wwI) and all my relatives had said that the united states has always been the most humane on the battle field. thats not to say we didnt partake in tourture. but we have done better than most in keeping the monster that is in us all in check. and as far as Lt.Col. Ok so after spending 3 years 4 months and 2 weeks on a rock in the middle of the pacific (i did get one hiatus to eloy) I am finaly on the east coast and i am freezing my ass off. but i still am determined to make as many jumps as i can....if anyone around Richmond would be so kind as to pick me up on the way to the DZ i would love them forever. i do have a ride but it is a government rental and i am sharing with 3 other guys....but i am the only authorized driver...so to be fair i shouldnt use it for myselfish needs....so enough said WHO WANTS TO PARTY???? actually ive moved 15 times in 28 years, lived in3 states and lived on a ship at sea most of the time for over a year...I find it liberating that not many people really know me...I can do anything I want and be who ever I want and not many people can tell me "thats not like you"...plus I have tons of friends in many different countries and states, I try to write or call once every couple of months and they do the same..life is short and I for one dont plan on letting it pass me by I am the light my son...What you seek is fire

all the problems we are having in the world these days with terrorists are because of religion...isn't the muslim religion a branch of judao/christian? it seems lately that the christians and jews have got along fairly well in the last 100 years or so..the christians are even putting up a better fight over the 10 commandments than the jewish folks in Alabama(?)...anyway....the way i see it GOD came to man in a image he could understand..it just so happens that the most popular version is the medditeranean version...if you look at all the religions that speak of love and peace they all have the same theme....one supreme being and a bunch of lesser beings doing his bidding Romans and Greeks had zeus and all the lesser gods, jews/christians/muslims...have GOD and all his angels/profits, the american indians have the Great Spirit, with lesser spirits for everyone and everything...its all the same...just the people who spread the message/dreams/visions had to explain it in a way that culture would understand...bottom line is we all share the same dream...now lets move on from there I am the light my son...What you seek is fire

i learned on a 182 and i was scared to death on every one of them...it took me a while to appreciate the old bird but now i love them...the only problem is in hawaii you will never go over 8,000 unless its the last load on an early day or you happen to get the dz manager to go with you....I need to try the bat exit but the pilot is afraid the wing will come off I am the light my son...What you seek is fire
