Why not concentrate on what you want to do, then seek the education to do it? Some vocations merely require the parchment to demonstrate that you can complete something, while others require the actual education to do the job. Knock it out while you are young... you'll enjoy life much more. No matter how good she looks, someone, somewhere is sick of her shit!

If it is something that is related to your income tax filing, the law says 7 years. What that means is if you get audited and have put something on your taxes that is substantiated by a receipt, less than 7 years old and you can't produce it, you're wrong. Otherwise, if it has nothing to do with the filing, trash it. No matter how good she looks, someone, somewhere is sick of her shit!

I disagree. There is no comprehending the terrorist mindset from a western judea-christian point of view. We value individual life and liberty, they do not. We can peacefully co-exist with our neighbors, but the terrorists refuse to regardless of the situation. We are fighting it (I've been twice, and going back again next month). We will defeat it, but unfortunately not through reasoning, diplomacy, or mutual understanding. It will be a victory of attrition, because the enemy has no desire to peacefully co-exist with us (just as the Palestinians have no desire to with the Israelies.) The federal Defense of Marriage Act already handles this. It states that other states are not compelled to recognize gay marriage. It will, of course, be challenged. No matter how good she looks, someone, somewhere is sick of her shit!

I think it has a lot to do with what they can get their hands on (versus what they can afford.) There are plenty of people who don't take the necessary steps to protect their loved ones regardless of how available or affordable coverage is. It could be ego, lack of effort, or lack of money. Skydiving is an alluring sport...some people think an injury will never happen to them. People who flame you will say you are heartless for bringing up the obvious. The question is, should the skydiving community be responsible for injured skydivers and the loved ones they might leave around? Tough question. I'm one of the lucky ones who will never have to worry about it (I'm in the military and retirement eligible). So I can jump, break, heal and repeat with little concern for insurance going away. However, I do maintain civilian insurability (through my own life and health policy that I took out more than 2 years before I began skydiving). Many can do this if they are willing to sacrifice other niceties of life. Those who can't are left with a tough choice of choosing skydiving over their loved ones futures. I for one pray no one else ever has to make that decision, but realize just how often that decision must be made. You are the sum product of your choices in life, so choose wisely. I'm headed to Rantoul tomorrow morning. I haven't been this excited since, well since the last time I headed out to Rantoul! So, here I am, driving in to work this morning in glorious OKC, down something called the Broadway Extension. Traffic is at about 65mph, Bob and Tom are on my radio, and the butterflies are practicing PLFs in my stomach. All at once, I see brake lights (everyones'!) Thank goodness for antilock brakes (and the awesome tires and suspension on my baby for keeping me safe.) Oh yeah, and thanks for the guy behind me having equally quick, cat-like reflexes. Here is my point: Whether you are going to the WFFC, Skyfest, the Boogie, or any other skydiving event (or just to you home DZ), please keep your head about you. The only worse than a skydiving accident is an accident on the way to (or from) skydiving. I want to see all my old friends in Rantoul...so promise me you'll get there in one piece! Do you think Kerry can acutally make up his mind? Nope.

Alright guys, Phree knows what he is talking about. I hit Rantoul 2002 with 150+ jumps and as fun as it was, it took a lot of paying attention to keep safe. Come out, have fun, party, but PAY ATTENTION! Tale your time. Do a couple of solos or 2-ways, track, pull, and take your time to set up a relaxed landing pattern. Oh yeah, smile and have fun. See you on Thrusday!!!! Hi Sunshine! No matter how good she looks, someone, somewhere is sick of her shit! -

Damn, Val...you trolling for vibes? I guess that is the way to do it. If you can't get any, I'd be willing to bet one of two things: a. You aren't trying b. Standards need to be re-adjusted. Which is it? No matter how good she looks, someone, somewhere is sick of her shit!

It works via brute force, meaning when you input your 1 or 2 numbers, it grinds out the possibilities computationally. Are you looking for a mathematical proof or a general "this is how?" Frankly, it seems to work as long as you have at least 2 different numbers and don't pick a 0 when you are circling a number. Now the 0 does work most of the time, but I can break it with the correct numbers. So, if you key in the numbers 1,2; that means you could have a number, 1-9 (remember you can't use a zero) in the computation. So, you have 27 possible pairs of numbers that you are looking for that match the following criteria: x - y = z, where z = 12a, or 1a2, or a12 and a is the missing number, where the digits in x are the same digits in y, in a different order. Now, with a 4 digit number, you have a total of 24 possible combinations with different numbers, 18 with 2 like numbers, and 12 with 2 like pairs of numbers. After that, it's just a matter of brute force computing to figure out the correct missing number. Not magic, just a counting problem. Who would think counting could be so difficult. Oh yeah...I've got the fever. And since I missed it last year, I'm ready for it seriously. 2 days of work, 10 hours in my car....100 jumps planned, more if I can stand it! No matter how good she looks, someone, somewhere is sick of her shit!

Damn, that Caravan suck. I do agree about little planes...they are fun. But sometimes I like to do a 20-way from a Casa... No matter how good she looks, someone, somewhere is sick of her shit!

How much do you make? (Kerry's 200K tax increase)
jazzjumper replied to Mirage63's topic in Speakers Corner
Hell the top 50% of wage earners already by 96% of the taxes. Frankly, I'm pissed about the way they are spending my 31%. No matter how good she looks, someone, somewhere is sick of her shit! -
Okay, I'm a lucky one as well. I chose static line training from a 182 at Gold Coast then graduated to the B99 (they used to have.) I then moved with 36 jumps to a 182/206 DZ. From there, to SGC...home of the CASA and Westwind Beech. We loved getting the small plane out and doing h/p, bat hangs, and anything else that is from from a small plane. I'm more of a good people snob, myself. I enjoy the people much more than the planes. A great jump plane with sucky people makes for sucky jumps. A sucky plane with great people makes for great jumps. No matter how good she looks, someone, somewhere is sick of her shit!

Okay, the military may order a person on delayed enlistment to report earlier, but not if they are still in HS (this breaks a few laws). This isn't saying they won't try and get a kid to drop out (for the Army) and report early. There is a problem enforcing that, since the orders have to come through registered, certified mail. If you accept it, it's like a supeona. The Air Force requires that you have a diploma or a GED (and it must be presented at enlistment.) Another fun, harmless idea is to put vaseline on the earpiece of her phone....then call her after she comes home and you leave. Tell her you enjoyed watching her place and if she ever needs you to do it again, just call. No matter how good she looks, someone, somewhere is sick of her shit!
