Wow, believe it or not I registered Feb 28, 2001, @ 9:11 AM. I guess that means my two year happy day is coming up pretty soon, huh! Truman Sparks for President

Ya know, that reminds me...I firmly believe that I have massive hands because the powers that be really wanted me to be exceptionally good at giving backrubs. I've actually given one that lasted three hours a time or two

Hey, cool!! Thanks nacmac, that's just replaced my egg timer. Truman Sparks for President

You know, that would make one hell of a good toast, so with that in mind, "Here's to good friends, blue skies and cold beer!" BTW, all of you peopel rock. Maybe I'm feeling a little corny today, but it's nice to read things that make people smile to think of. Truman Sparks for President

Congrats on the fresh person! New people are by far the greatest part of life! Truman Sparks for President

Are you for real, Sunshine?! Where can a person get their hands on one of these modern wonders? Oh, and what's your favorit pop tart? Mine's got to be the cinnamon variety. Truman Sparks for President

I've been reading through the different threads lately thinking that people aren't feeling all that nice. In the interest of good vibes I thought I'd start a thread for people to post random happy things. Puppies, kittens, flowers, skydives, really good sex, whatever made you grin that you want to share. I'm sure this thread will die off pretty quick with the mood we all seem to be in, but damn, I had to try. Oh, and my good vibed happy thought is...the Tootsie Pop. How many licks does it take? I don't care, I say the joy is in the licking Truman Sparks for President

HAHAHA, that was both educational and entertaining. When are you gonna take your show national on pbs? You could come on right after Sesame Street to help raise the next generation the proper way. Truman Sparks for President

SoCal Wind Tunnels -- Press Clips

Lucky sob's in SoCal When do you think they'll build one in K.C. Missouri? Truman Sparks for President -
Skygal, this thing you speak of is filling me with terror, so much so that I won't mention it by name. It would be too vile to comprehend. What would I do when I had slack time at work? Surely not work? How would I entertain myself when I'm sitting at home bored? (Ok, so I guess there's options there, but dz.com's still a lot of fun) Truman Sparks for President

I don't know, maybe I'm way out alone here, but every time threads like that pop up all I can do is sing along with Queen... "Another one bites the dust Another one bites the dust And another one gone and another one gone Another one bites the dust, eh Hey, I'm gonna get you too Another one bites the dust." Welcome to the forums and to the sky. Oh, and just so you know, if you go at this sport anything like I did, yep, you'll get broke. Of course, some DZO's are really cool and will let you just direct deposit your paycheck to the dz account Have fun, keep it safe, and drink a lot when it's all over! Truman Sparks for President

Thanks, that's nice information, and I agree with you Truman Sparks for President

I'm gonna have to go with "other" and suggest that they have a boxing match promoted by Don King. I figure that way we get to see one hell of a grudge match but the whole middle east snafu would be cleared up in about 46 seconds. Truman Sparks for President

The Seven Dwarfs go to the Vatican, and because they are "The Seven Dwarfs," they get ushered into see the Pope. Dopey and Doc lead the pack. "Dopey and Doc my sons," says the Pope, "what can I do for you?" Doc asks, "Excuse me, Your Excellency, but are there any dwarf nuns in Rome?" The Pope wrinkles his brow at the odd question, thinks for a moment and answers, "No Doc, there are no dwarf nuns in Rome." In the background a few of the dwarfs begin giggling. Dopey turns around and gives them a glare, silencing them. Doc then asks the Pope. "Your Worship, are there any dwarf nuns in all of Europe?" The Pope, puzzled again, thinks for a moment and then answers, "No, Doc, there are no dwarf nuns in all of Europe." This time all the other dwarfs burst into laughter. Once again, Dopey turns around and silences them all with an angry glare. Doc looks at the Pope and says, "Mr. Pope, are there ANY dwarf nuns in the whole world?" The Pope answers, "I'm sorry, my son, there are no dwarf nuns anywhere in the world." The other dwarfs collapse into a heap, rolling, and laughing, pounding on the floor, tears rolling down their cheeks as they begin chanting, "Dopey screwed a penguin! Dopey screwed a penguin!" No one's gonna care if you don't want to drink, and as fas as you buying stuff for firsts, you can a)bring a case of whatever you drink, be it beer or soda or milk or whiskey, or b) not bring anything for firsts but don't take anything from other people's offerings to the god of first. I'd recommend a, just cause it's more fun and no one is gonna care if you bring beer for the night or root beer for the day. Truman Sparks for President

I could ramble on and on, but the short version seems the best...I agree with you. Concept is good, but we're no where near a practical working platform. Truman Sparks for President

Welcome, and what they all said. I'd typr it out but I'm feeling lazy tonight.

that would be version 6.0. Of course I don't know much about all this junk, I just read what pops up on the screen. I'm very far from a techie. Truman Sparks for President

Did you hear about this guy killing himself in a chatroom?
blewaway5 replied to kevin922's topic in The Bonfire
Hi sunny one. I just thought I'd jump in and play devil's advocate here with you. You just said that "Just cause I support people's decisions doesn't mean I agree with them." If you support something, you are, by your actions, agreeing to further it. Take this whole Iraq invasion crap, can you not agree with it but still support it? They'd kick you out of the demostration if you were protesting the possibility of war and you were carrying a sign that said "I support Bush!" I guess my point is whether you accept suicde as a legitimate way out or you think suicide is a bullsh*t way for a person to punk out and not take a chance that life could get better, you can't just ride the fence and claim both are legitimate. Besides, fences have fence poles, and when you hit those bastards they leave a mark. -
