    I have heard that the VA state head down record is only an 8 way. My dropzone, Skydive Suffolk, is having a boogie on 23 April & I am thinking of trying to break this record at our event, however, I have no idea where to begin when it comes to planing & organizing such an event. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

    I had one and it broke after two weeks. The thing still beeped, but the screen was blank unless you squeezed the sides. I gave it away to this kid that needed an audible. He sent it to the factory and they sent him a new one! Wish I would have thought of that. I was bummed and humored at the same time.

    I have an infinity sized for 210-190 and i jump a vengence 170. I realize you have a javalin, but i dont think it would be a problem. Call the manufacturer and see what they say. best of luck to ya bro!

    Had a funny dream last night. I dreamed that i break off from a formation and this guy was tracking right above me, so i couldnt pull. I tried turning away from him, but he kept following me. Finaly I managed to get to away from him, but when i went to dump my shirt was covering my hackey! I looked at my alti and I was whistling through a 1,000 ft, so i pulled the reserve. My stupid reserve snivels until impact! I get up off the ground amazed that im not dead and I see the DZO comes running out to me. He starts yelling at me saying I need to appologize to the tandem students who watched me go in. I got really mad and we were gonna fight, but i woke up.

    FEEEL THE WIND YOUNG GRASSHOPPER! All joking aside, have you looked into getting some coaching? Try and get a block rate from someone that is really qualified, and they can point you in the right direction. HAVE FUN!

    I dont understand why they dont restrict 270s and 180s to the swoop pond located way out on the other end of the main landing area. As long as the high performance pilots keep thier pattern away from the main laning area, there should be no problems.

    What other places can you build hours faster in multi engine aircraft than at a dropezone? Flying jump aircraft is a great way for younger pilots to gain experience. If you dont like the pay then go get your CFI rating and let students tote you around all day. Im more concearned with shaddy maintenance than i am of a rookie pilot.
