I think they should bring back the static line program. Lodi has one and it only ends up being around 700 bucks for your A licence as oposed to 2000 bucks with yhe ISP.

SEPARATE THE HIGH PERFORMANCE LANDING AREA FROM THE MAIN LANDING AREA, NO TURNS OVER 90 DEGREES ALOUD IN THE MAIN LANDING AREA. PROBLEM SOLVED. JUST ABOUT EVERY DROPZONE I HAVE BEEN TO HAS SOME SORT OF RULE LIKE THIS ESTABLISHED. WITH THAT SAID, JUST CAUSE YOU FLY A BEACH TOWEL SIZED CANOPY DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE TO DO A 270 TO LAND. IF ITS CROUDED AND UNSAFE THEN DONT DO IT.

What about at Cal city? They have a designated drop area, so if it goes in it wont kill anyone except maybe a cactus. I made a bunch of them, but havent made it out there to try them out. My design is simple, I just dont know how heavy i need to make them, or how much drag to add. Any suggestions?

You need to be seen for this right away! This could be something more serious than an infection. Your doctor should do a urinalysis with a microscopy, if you have casts in your urine then youve got fucken problems! Go see your local Urologist pronto homie!!!

Dont you think that if he took you aside and explained the situation to you and how serious it was that the lesson would have been just as effective? There was no reason for him to talk to you in the way that he did. You were a student and did not know any better. I can tell you that if I ever witness anyone do that to a student I will definately have words with that person. They need to know that this is wrong and people are not to be treated with disrespect. I dont care if they have a bazillion jumps, that does not give them the right to treat somebody in such a manor!

Agree and add: Reprimand in private, Praise in public. Nothing makes people more defensive than having their faults aired in public. So just ask to speak to them and step away from other people and speak at a reasonable volume. BTW, What did you do that got you verbally assaulted? Its happened to me several times and ive witnessed it happen to others as well. The worst one i ever got was for flying too close someone on the ground in the landing area. I saw him and was in complete control, but he felt i landed too close to him. He threatened to kick my ass and what not. He's just an asshole, every dropzone has one.

I think this is one aspect of our sport that is highly over looked. People are not perfect and everyone makes mistakes, some more frequently than others. These situations need to be addressed in order to keep things safe and sound. There is a certain way to aproach someone after situation like this occurs, and it does not involve curse words and screaming. BE POLITE! aproach the person in a non threating manor, try to smile even though you may want to strangle them. Also try to make a joke or something to further ease the tension of the situation that has taken place. Making a big mistake infront of your peers is embarising and tends to put people on the defensive. Be as non confrontational as possible when asking questions about the persons desisions in the situation that took place. Smile and talk in a calm voice Ensure that they know who to turn to if they have questions in regard to whatever created the unsafe situation, I say this mostly in regard to being unsafe under canopy. Every dropzone has someone with alot of experience, and it is that persons responsiblity to set a positive example for the up and coming groms. They look up to you , so dont be a dick!

THIS SOUNDS ALOT LIKE ME WHEN I STARTED TO GET INTO DRUGS AND STUFF IN HIGH SCHOOL. WHEN I FINALLY DID GET CAUGHT BY MY FOLKS THEY WENT NUTS! I GOT SENT TO REHAB AND THEY TOOK EVERYTHING OUT OF MY ROOM AND EVEN TOOK THE DOOR OFF THE HINGES. I GOT DRUG TESTED TWICE A WEEK FOR A YEAR. I HAD TO EARN EVERYTHING BACK BY DOING GOOD. SLOWELY BUT SURELY I EARNED BACK ENOUGH TRUST AND PRIVACY TO START USING DRUGS AGAIN. IVE BEEN TO REHAB TWICE. FLUNKED OUT OF SCHOOL. BEEN IN TROUBLE WITH POLICE. IM IN THE MILITARY NOW AND I CLEANED UP MY ACT. THE ONLY ADVICE TO YOU I CAN GIVE IS TOUGH LOVE. SHE HAS TO KNOW THAT WHAT SHE IS DOING WILL NOT BE TOLORATED IN YOUR HOUSE! MY FOLKS MADE ME SIGN A CONTRACT THAT SHOWED WHAT THEY EXPECTED OF ME AND THE CONSEQUENCES THAT WOULD HAPPEN IF I DIDNT.
