Family, friends and Staff at Skydive Spaceland. We at SDH were truly shocked to here of the death of Dennis. Many of our staff also grieves from previously working with him in an operational status out of state. He is loved by many and is always known for his quotes, mustache, sock and smile. He is a great lover of the sky and will truly be missed. From your friends' up north, please know our best wishes are with you, the family and your staff during these times of sorrow. Ron is a great man. He helped Kristi and I on student status. Ron was always positive around the DZ and in his slot on jumps. He will be truly missed. Texas skydiving has lost a loyal skydiver. Respectfully, TB Fuck Cancer! www.skydivehouston.com

Sorry about the break, Fibula is a tricky bone. It is also a known non healer. It controls allot of rotation movement of the ankle. If the mortis is not disturbed and its a simple break you are looking at 6 months. If it is truly non displaced fibula fx, cast 1 month, boot 2 months, PT 2 month. Otherwise plate and screws and its about 3 months. If you are in a boot, treat it like a cast. The last thing you want is a nonunion of the fracture where your orthopod gets to break out osteotomes and refracture the bone then plate and screw. Good Luck! TB www.skydivehouston.com

tbellopa-c replied to vivfreeflying's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Hey Guys, I hope everyone is having a good time. I just got back from PIA today eager to see my lovely wife. As I walked into the house, I noticed all was really quiet. As I glanced around the house I noticed a note. The note stated this: Off to Puerto Rico, be back on Monday. Love KWB I am offering a week of free skydives at Skydive Houston for the first person to steal her passport! Have fun everyone and if you see Kristi, go make some freefly jumps together. Till then, I will keep tandems moving at SDH. Cheers, Todd www.skydivehouston.com -

tbellopa-c replied to pairashooter's topic in Events & Places to Jump
First of all Turtle you can never fall that slow, but I like the idea. Second. This is a Fun Jumper Appreciation Day, and the jump tickets will remain at $12.00. Once we get finished Chub's benefit this weekend, the improvements and the transformation of the hangar will begin. www.skydivehouston.com -
