Thanks for the great pictures Chris, that is a beautiful cliff...I actually won a painting of that exact spot at an art festival in Lodi, CA just the other day. Jimmy, I got a call from my dad about the threatening letters you sent to my family...please stop. Right after that I got a call that one of my best friends was killed practicing for an airshow today...same age as me...this goes for all of us, there are way more important things in life to worry about than getting worked up over drama. I'm sorry for bringing it up, what's done is done and I don't have control over Jimmy or Clair's decisions. I will request that the other thread be deleted. "They will soar on wings like eagles..."

I'm sorry to say that all of the accusations and all of the disgusting comments about Jimmy, my boyfirend who I loved and my best friend and pretty much little sister...Clair, the people who I stood up for and defended....were true. The 16 year old "death camper" is now dating my 33 year old x-boyfriend...this is the most disgusting and dissapointing display that I have ever seen and I am the person who has loved and been there for both of them more than anyone...and apparently the one who has been used. Take it as you will, but I guess this goes to show what kind of people they are and what kind of a person would teach an 16 year old kid to BASE jump...and I actually thought that we were doing something to help to make the sport grow~ what a trusting fool I've been...these are not the kind of people I would trust my life with ever again...but we all get to make our own decisions... all of my previous posts have been to stand up for Jimmy and for what I believed to be the truth...now I want the truth to be known. Tree "You can't begin to talk about ethics when you hang out with and teach base to a minor. It also speaks very loudly about your maturity level that a 35 year old man could actually "hang out" with a teenage girl at all. You talking about ethics makes one wait for a punch line." ok, i usually stay out of these, and i've ignored this topic several times already...but tree, i am so sick of you bringing this up. it is extremely offensive and you REALLY need to leave it alone. clair is our friend, if you'll notice, anytime you see her i'm usually right there with her, not just jimmy. oh, and i'm sorry if you never had the chance to have one, but usually when you start into a new sport..or anything for that matter, you have a mentor to help teach you along the way. in my flying i have an "ace" who is in his 60's. he helps me to understand the world of aerobatics and keeps me from doing anything in my airshows that will get me killed...now if anyone came out and accused him of ANYTHING inapropriate with me...i would have to go ahead and call THAT imature. talk about ethics, when you repeatedly bring this topic up you are not not only attacking jimmy, but you are also attacking me and clair. hey all, here are some pictures from Clair's first tandEm, they missed the exit shot but here's her deployment shot...as she static lined me :) i know... no ariel but i was holding her pilot chute and she was holding mine "They will soar on wings like eagles..."

After reading all that everyone had to say about Clair BASE jumping without any skydiving experience I thought that you might be interested to know that she FINALLY did her first tandom...with me. Last wekend at the Perrine she went on my back off the Bridge...now, she did land her canopy on her own, but I do believe that that still counts as a tandom...actually, that is the first tandom that i've given as well. That was Clair's 5th BASE jump, and she now has a total of 7 BASE jumps....which I would say counts as a great first AFF course...not to mention she stood up every landing, way to go Clair. Anyways, just thought you'd all like to know, HIDGAF, Melissa "They will soar on wings like eagles..."
