LOL. This reminds me of the hysteria over government overreach back in the '70s when they phased out leaded gas. To listen to them, you would think it was the end of the world. Along with fuel injection, it was one of the best things to ever happen to cars. Decades later, there's a reduction in violent crime that may be attributable to the elimination of lead in gasoline, among other things.

I want in on the fun. I drive a Toyota Land Cruiser V-8. It get's 16 MPG on the highway. However, I walk as much as possible so I don't run a lot of gasoline through it. It's easy since I live in one of those Communist 15 minute communities. When we were kids, we used to call them small towns, or something like that. Doesn't some guy have a song out called "Try That in a 15 Minute Community?" I think it was a big deal with the MAGA cult a few months ago. I'm really confused.

I'm currently reading the Mueller Report regarding collusion between the Trump Campaign and Russia and the obstruction of justice during the investigation. Some things that struck me were that the main reasons Trump's inner circle did not (effectively) collude were that they were too incompetent and self-interested. Trump really was too dumb to accomplish much of anything other than repeatedly stepping on his own dick. Now, if all the intelligent and effective right wing nut jobs in Washington unite to use Trump as a useful idiot to carry out their own plans, we really are in trouble.
