    Right! That's where we are staying. We rented a small house downtown for a week. We'll be bringing our bicycles, too. More info: One of the big reasons we are going is that I've had this idea that I would like to move there. I love the desert and think the climate would really agree with me.

Here's what we are planning on doing, so far: 1) Viewing the Marfa Mystery Lights 2) McDonald Observatory "star party" 3) Terlingua / Lajitas 4) Big Bend National Park 5) Take an introductory glider lesson at Marfa Any suggestions for other things to do?

    I've made a couple of student jumps at what is now Skydive Spaceland Dallas (travelling) and it was excellent.

    My iCloud photo backup has a gap in it that I can't figure out. The photos from from the time I got the phone up until Sept 2016 are there, but anything after that is missing until I bought a new phone a few weeks ago. Basically, my old phone stopped backing up the photos in Sept 2016. I still have over 1 GB of storage available on iCloud. Photo Library and Photo Stream are both turned on. The phone is connected to WiFi, but the phone stopped synching with iCloud a little over a year ago. I've run a couple of searches, but no luck. Any ideas?

    ....and the rest of us just sort of hung around outside and across the street in the big parking lot. There were versions of that in other towns. But you never see this anymore. It can't just be the Malls can it, they close at 10pm. I'm just curious what the current version of hanging out on weekend nights is. We did the same thing. I think that has been replaced by the smartphone.

    I blame it on Rush Limbaugh, and I used to be a fan of his. Rush was the beginning of demonization as a standard part of politics and a big reason we are where we are today. I have also been a lifelong Republican, but I voted for HRC this time. I did not and still don't like her, but at least she would have performed the duties of the office, unlike the clown we elected. In the next few weeks I will be going to the courthouse to change my voter registration to Democrat.

    I went there about 33 years ago and was very determined to "get the hang of it." I think I dropped $100 which got me around an hour of tunnel time. The next day I was so sore I could barely drive. If I were to do it again today, I'm sure I would be in a wheelchair.

    Every time I carry mine when I take a long road trip I regret it. I never feel like I am in danger and will not carry it any more, except to the range.
