My mother was like that. She would believe the most ridiculous things after she had herself set it in motion. I think this phenomenon is more common than we think and we are seeing that play out in front of our eyes in varying degrees.

I'm right there with you. I voted conservative Republican all my life, but at 57 years old in 2016 I voted for Hillary Clinton. After the Republicans fell in line to support Roy Moore, my wife and I both went to the courthouse to change our voter registrations to Democrat.

Hi Dena. I am also in Arkansas. I don't jump anymore, but I started at 47, so 33 is pretty young. Look into Skydive Fayetteville. It was started by some people that I used to jump with. I hear it's great.

As far as I am concerned, Glenn Beck is one of the primary reasons we are in the position we are in today. He has got to be one of the biggest societal antagonists in the history of the human race. Don't forget the gigantic audience he had on Fox News, back in the day before they kicked him out for being such a lunatic. Was it about a year ago that he put out that book Addicted to Outrage ? That's irony, coming from that devil. Edited to add: If the shit ever goes down, he's one of the causes and I hope he's stuck in the middle of it.
