fine, fine, i guess i just won't talk to you anymore! Too distracting! "The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all."
-
Me too! I've only had one jump, but it's on my mind 24-7, and i'm counting down the days until i do my aff level2. If only it wasn't so damn expensive, i'd be out there every weekend! "The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all."

i like this quote about courage and fear: “Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear."
-
so how long is this thing in colorado you're going to? "The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all."

name a time and place! "The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all."

hey, i watch and listen! i know basically what swooping is. at least i've seen a few people do it. though i don't know what the point is...maybe you could inform me. "The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all."

I felt completely in control, and I did still have the altitude on my side. so thanks, i feel better.

got a question--how many line twists is too many? On my first jump (aff level 1) about a week ago i had several line twists, but i knew that i could fix it...and i did, but it was twisted around about 4 or 5 times. it didn't take very long to fix the problem, and i was still pretty high up, so i wasn't going to cut my main and pull my reserve. should i have pulled the reserve or was i right in fixing the twists?...everything ended up fine after i got them untwisted,

by the way, i forgot to ask you what you were competing at in CO "The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all."
-
sounds like a deal. if you were at the farm aug. 20th weekend, i might've met you, but i met so many people it's hard to remember names. hopefully i'll be back out there in a couple of weeks. good luck in the competition and tell jim hey for me. "The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all."

Just wanted to say thanks to Jim Vance for my "pre-second jump". It was great. Glad you were my "first". Hopefully I'll see you again next time at the Farm. And next time, if I get nervous, maybe you'll let me rub your leg again. :) Love to hear from you Jim. Sarah sske8760@gc.peachnet.edu
