Oh god, that'd be a wet dream! If is wasn't for cloudy and/or windy days at the DZ, I would still have never shot a "real" gun. (I had shot a bb gun in gym class in 8th grade). I can't hit the broad side of a barn with a real gun but I did shoot a cow bird with one of those air guns. Judy Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle. -

Bob is great. You really need to do a jump with him and a do little accuracy wagering. He has had some incredible experiences. I've seen alot of the old video's and even the one where he taught Julie Newmare (Catwomen) to skydive. I could go on and on about how great Bob is but I have to get back to work. I really don't drink anymore - I used to be able to drink just about anything. My favorite drinks now are fufu drinks like Pina Colada's and Strawberry daq's. I know I'm such a girl. Judy Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

I guess I should just be happy I already got my 2 1/2 jumps in for February. (1/2 jump - I did a tandem with someone getting their rating.) Its a winter goal to make at least 1 jump a month so I'm 1 1/2 ahead of my goal. I do have the South of the Border Boogie to look forward to in March. We are going. It will be my 6 and my hubby's 7th year there. If I could only skydive once a year - i would pick this place. We had friends that have spouse's/significant others that don't jump go and loved it there. The hotel is first class not to mention the organizers. Hang out poolside, land on the beach infront of the hotel. Excellent scenery. El Bronco (restaurant in town) has the best steak and lobster I have ever had. Yeah, there was a gear actuator problem. He landed on 2 wheels. Plane should be up by the end of the week. No injuries. Not catastrophic. That's all I know. Judy Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

_____________________________________________ The tempo reserve I have was very very unresponsive. Full toggle turns resulted in very very slow turns (my first canopy was a cruiselight 220 and it turns at least as twice as fast as the tempo). It also had little to no flare. From a reserve standpoint it worked pefectly. I'm alive and limping. (hard landing) ____________________________________________ Just curious, why would you want a really responsive reserve? If you are unconscience, or incapacitated under your reserve, do you really want it to respond to every body movement? A tempo 150 saved my life once. Only reason I got rid of it, it didn't fit in the Rig I bot. It probably sounds like I'm preaching - I don't mean it that way. Glad to hear you are okay. IMO, Valentine's Day is just another Hallmark holiday. My hubby and I don't do anything we don't do any other time. At our house every day is Christmas, Valentines Day, etc... Most pissed off Valentines Day experience - 1st marriage, 1st valentines day as a married couple. I put some thought into his gift to make sure it was here on Valentines day and I got a pre-wrapped box of chocolates - the icky fruity cream kind that no one eats. This was an obvious last minuted picked it up at the convenience store on the way home gift. He is now the X but for better reasons than listed above.
