  1. so much for my million dollar idea
  2. yeah that's what I was thinking - something like that
  3. It's what I think they call the freefly handle for your pilot chute that tucks in the BOC with the tuck tab?
  4. I'm surpirsed Mirage has not put a magnet on the freefly handle tab yet for added protection. What do you think?
  5. What's the worst that could happen? The 12 year old girl could be killed

    Sabre2

I have a Sabre2 170 only loaded a little over 1.0 and this thing flies the way I always envisioned a canopy should fly. Can't wait to get her back in the air again.
  7. At jump 40 I finally had my rig all pieced together G4 M4=$900 Sabre2 170 with only 25 jumps=$1100 Smart 160=$475 total=$2475

    Lets see you

Here is a pick of me before AFF level 2.
  9. Had Friday scheduled off for the past 2 weeks with hopes of making some jumps. Guess I could go snowboarding.
  10. You might want to listen to SkyDiveRadio SHOW #69 with Pieces of Eight jumper, Al Krueger. I think that was the show anyway. Just go to the Home page of dropzone.com and you will see the link. It's a great show that talks about how skydivers with disabilities figure out ways to overcome their disabilities. You might find a point of contact to get your questions answered as well. Good Luck!
  11. Thanks for the reply. Just trying to find out if the Smart is more accepted now then it was. Just want to make sure I made a good decision since my life depends on it. I wonder if any riggers like the Smart more than PD now that they have had a chance to see them up close and personal, or if they think they are on the same playing field.
  12. Now that the Smart reserve has been out for a few years what do you think about them now?
  13. That's the news I was looking for. I'm hoping to make a few jumps on Sunday in Longmont!
  14. That's pretty cool your parents and sister are pilots. I would love to fly a plane, maybe someday. Good luck with your future jumps.
  15. Yeah i'ts not cheap. I need to talk to Justin as well, I don't even know who he is yet but I have heard about him. I have not done any coached jumps yet, just solo's and one 2-way with a friend, but I do have a few weekdays coming up at the end of the month and I plan to do a few. I'll be at Mile-Hi on Saturday, maybe I will see you there.
  16. Hey Jeff, Look forward to meeting you at the DZ. When we are both off student status we will need to do some jumps together. Good luck with AFF and the AFROTC. It's been slow going for me but I always make sure I get a few jumps a month. I'm putting together my first rig and only need a main and AAD. I can't wait to get it all together and make more jumps.
  17. That's funny you should ask. I have been hounding them both about some day doing a 3-way together. I'll make sure it happens someday! That will be one sweet jump!
  18. Made my 15th and 16th jump this weekend at Mile-Hi Skydiving on Colorado. What a wonderfully fun sport. Currently putting together my own rig just need a main and a AAD. Sister was Airborne and my brother was a Special Forces Halo jumpmaster so I figured I would follow the family tradition. My brother is still in the Special Forces but is now a Doctor. Visited him in Seattle last month and was able to check out the new Halo rigs and even jumped on a canopy flight simulator! Landed on a aircraft carrier in the middle of the ocean! Made my first tandem jump last year on Father's Day. Look forward to jumping with you all! Blues!
