I just flew back from Seville using Ryanair flying from Stansted and took my rig as hand luggage, apart from the hassle at security trying to explain to them what it is i had no problems, but my rig weighed just less than the allowance at 9.7kgs and fit into the size limits. Only problem i had was with Spanish security as i should've learnt the spanish word for parachute
Thanks for your help guys, at least its a problem that can be fixed quite easily, will be having a rigger look at it thursday in seville, also loving the new pilot, great first canopy for my level!!
Thanks for that, i wont go taking my scissors to it just yet don't worry! The other brake line is going the same way, starting to get a bump on it, so i guess they didn't trap it tight enough?! will have to see what the rigger says. thanks
Ok so new Aerodyne Pilot only 15 jumps on it and this has happened to both my brake lines below the brake loop. Do any riggers out there know why they've done this any idead how it can be fixed, and not happen again??
Going out there too, 27th Dec till 4th Jan, hopefully getting my FS1, then maybe try some larger formations than im used to, see you all there. Jumps on New Years Day, a first for the log book
London Parachute School has a small landing area but has plenty of extra fields for any off landing, the aircraft are small but with larger planes coming in 06 it should be a great year! DZ within 45mins from London! Staff and regular jumpers are friendly and approachable making LPS a very relaxed and all round great place for weekend skydiving!
It took me seven S/L jumps to get a stable spread, first jump my legs were kicking, second i was on my side, third on my back. Just keep practicing i'm sure youll get the hang of it. i'm on dummy pulls now, and its taken seven jumps just to find the handle!
