  1. Who cares? Nothing will ever change. It is the American way.
  2. You called me. Here I am. In short, the Merkel has gone nuts! "Bring me all those from the Mid-East and Africa, and we shall welcome them w/ open arms." Crazy! Suffice it to say that it can't work by the numbers. Muslims and Western values don't mix well. They never will. Europeans don't support it. And ultimately Germans won't either. You guys, Americans, take them. You broke it. You own it! Best of luck! P.S.: Per NYT, I hear that all those ME refugees are a real asset to any economy. Wonder why Saudi-Arabia, Egypt, or the Gulf States aren't taking any. P.P.S.: Those refugees are not coming to integrate into an existing society. As I have done, however imperfectly. But they are trying to set up a new Syria in their host-country. I don't support that. To the contrary.
  3. Notably, our three American compatriots are keeping the "ball low." Apparently they don't think of themselves as "exceptional" American heroes. But just as humans who did what they had to do when confronted w/ a "challenge." This is refreshingly different from your standard-issue Speakers Corner armchair, right-wing quarterback!!!!!
  4. I don't think that's what is needed. And I don't think, by the account, that is what it took. Being citizens, NO UNIFORM, is enough. Being man enough to take charge. One doesn't have to be f*** soldier to have balls!! In your sorry world maybe. P.S.: Not a US-less Soldier, but a beautiful video no less. Guy got balls. :) Perfect sit, sub-terminal. He must have skydiving experience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9ox62y4zsE Right, all we have to do is give the entire U.S. Population a few years of marine boot camp and basic infantry training. That's feasible.
  5. It's ironic that what could have been a really nasty attack was stopped in a country that has very restrictive gun laws by people without guns. Seems that maybe there are better ways of safety than everyone running around with guns. The idea of a whole bunch of armed people on a packed train would be a nightmare as bad as the one that just happened. Here in the U.S. the gun crowd would be pushing more guns to keep the evil shooters away.

Pssst! It is hard to keeping up w/ all the shit going on in every little corner. But you are right, of course. Pssst!

Sorry statement about the US. You can just flush the US down the drain and the world would be a better place. "HitchBOT has been around the world, including trips across the entirety of Canada and Germany without major incident. But America is clearly a hard land for our robot brothers and sisters."
  8. That's hard-hitting. You should get a copyright on that.
  9. To make matters worse. I won't even pack. Not pack, not concealed pack, not concealed double carry super-secret pack. I don't need that shit. If you do, I don't want to meet you. That simple. P.S.: Guys like rweirdo (whatever) w/ his super duper, killing double pack. I bet, he is just overcompensating for a small dick. P.S.: That's my personal, professional opinion. There you go again with that air of superiority. It's why there's so much friction on here between the lot of you and us.
  10. Good deal. As I am much more impressive in person than behind a keyboard. But I also like to think that you are much more reasonable in person than behind a keyboard! Where will you buy me a beer? Your so big behind a keyboard. Let me buy you a beer and discuss it in person one day like gentlemen. I think you would be surprised at your misconceptions.
  11. You have absolutely no clue, WHATSOEVER, about German nationals. So spare us your analysis coming from a fifth-tier law school graduate. You want to talk to me eye-to-eye. Emigrate to Germany. Live in the country for 27 years (if you even can get past immigration laws.) Become a citizen. Until then, all your opinions are just that. Opinions, unfounded! Walk the walk. Don't just TALK!
  12. Ok, I'll bite. I condemn Anvilbrother. He is a nut job waiting to happen. Seriously. In every other country he would already have been institutionalized. Here he is roaming wild and free spewing his poison.
  13. Thanks, bud. Like when the only serious newscast (worth watching) is the "Daily Show?" SAD! Regardless of your political leaning, that was pure comedy!
  14. In the US, we don't call it Internet Research Agency but Fox News.
  15. Because real Americans don't care about health insurance. That's why. Real Americans strap a gun instead. Why should you have to pay $12k?
  16. Let me just insert a bit of real life experience. I am an EXTREMELY educated consumer of health care. Just as all the politicians and especially Republicans want us to be. I hold a PhD in STEM, also. I would never, ever let my family go w/o adequate insurance in the US. Doing so essentially puts all your financial assets at risk. Case in point: Two weeks ago I just tripped. Trying to catch my fall, I broke my right arm and nose. To date, w/o insurance I'd be facing $12k+ in bills. For a relatively minor and common injury. Thanks to ACA, I am about $750 out-of-pocket. That's still too much if you compare service rates in other parts of world. But the US is truly EXCEPTIONAL. P.S.: I am sure AnvilB and LawR and all the other tea beggars will educate me why I should have to pay $12k. You know my response to that already...
  17. I'd like those Americans who blamed Freddie Gray for his own demise to consider this: (1) Walking in your own neighborhood, (2) making eye contact with a police sergeant, and (3) running in the opposite direction taken together do not constitute a crime. It is not a crime if you are white, and it shouldn't be a crime if you are black.
  18. I see nothing has changed while I was on break. Still the usual suspects! Carry on then.
  19. Or maybe I just make sense?! Consider that as an alternate hypothesis.
  20. It is good to see the usual mentally challenged (NO DISRESPECT, can happen to anyone!) agree among themselves. This would include Driver1, Anvilbrother, Ronsomethingorelse, turtle speed, masterrig, and my very special friend, Billy Vance. If I inadvertently left you out, please don't feel offended. There are just too many idiots in this world!!!! You can say that again!
  21. Very simple. I refuse to allow idiots, who can't even get their facts straight, rule the discussion. That simple. The last idiot who did this cost our country billions of dollars, and killed hundreds of thousands. And he should be incarcerated as a war criminal for life. Have I made myself perfectly clear? LOL... ...wtf's the matter with you people...
  22. Straight from the NRA Convention website, http://www.nraam.org You need to get your facts straight, IDIOT!!!! Before calling anyone or media a liar. "During the 2015 NRA Annual Meeting & Exhibits, lawfully carried firearms will be permitted in the Music City Center with the proper license in accordance with Tennessee law. Bridgestone Arena prohibits the possession of firearms. When carrying your firearm, remember to follow all federal, state and local laws." P.S.: I apologize for the harsh language. But it is time to call out the dimwits. Enough is enough!
  23. So, this should be safest event in 2015. If everybody is carrying, and one misbehaves. There are 69,999 guns against the mischievous one. Too bad that the NRA doesn't even drink its own cool-aid.
  24. NRA will not allow anyone to carry at its Annual Convention. And here I thought guns make us safer. What's wrong with that? From NYT. "Seventy-thousand people are expected to attend the National Rifle Association’s convention opening on Friday in Tennessee, but they won’t be allowed to carry firearms in one of the main convention venues. This may run counter to the N.R.A.’s ideas about carrying guns everywhere, from elementary schools to workplaces. There will, of course, be plenty of weapons in evidence at the hundreds of display booths, but for convention security the firing pins must be removed. So far, there has been none of the familiar complaint about infringing supposedly sacrosanct Second Amendment rights — the gun lobby’s main argument in opposing tighter federal background checks on gun buyers after the 2012 gun massacre of schoolchildren in Connecticut. Anyone interested in buying the guns on display, many of them adapted from large-magazine battlefield weapons, will have to apply later at a federally licensed gun dealer where, sensibly enough, background checks are required."
  25. I have to further analysis this. But it is certainly a unique, very original contribution. I just can't fathom yet what it means. :)
