    I did 1 tandem and 4 AFF jumps in 4 months foe the same reason and quit for 1.5 yrs. Then returned after finding that my jm commited suicide. Wish I would have stuck it out. Never seen weather and jm problems like that yr since. Haven't missed a jumpable weekend since except on vacation.

    I just got a phone call from Dad about today. He left the office early to play his normal as could be round of golf @ Sugar Creek CC where they lived and I was also a member, where we spread her ashes in freefall. He was worried about me as the baby. We both lost it on the phone in rememberance of Mom! He lost it as did I, even though we see eachother every day. He has an aquaintance since then yet I can't have another Mother. She was a one of beautful woman!!!!!! God bless her soul in Heaven! I am struggling hard today with the depth of sorrow that this brings,my sinusus are warn and my tears wealting of this issuese tonight.

    An entire year has gone by and still some days it feels like yesterday that Heaven got introduced to a new angel to help protect us from above and to enjoy total peace. Blue skies now her's forever. She touched the hearts of all that met her. Pat Hall 11/15/04

    I've still got my clubs, guitars, motorcycle, etc. No bowling balls though I still have my bowling ball,bag,shoes and towel and used to carry a 160+ average but haven't used them since I started jumping again.

    I do as I teach, do practice touches in the plane on every load, lead by example! I feel that every jump could take my life so that I make sure that my gear is in order before EVERY JUMP! I get a gear check in the Otter even though I know that there has been 0 conflict with my gear! I take every jump as a life threatening event and remain afraid on evey jump! Fear is a life saver.

    Again I am not sure. Its an eerie feeling having a canopy turn when you think you should be going straight. But I have only been able to do it when the brakes are set. Why it does it is beyond my realm of understanding for now. The only reason a canopy will turn is because of uneven input period if the canopy is in trim or a brake fire short of a line over or tension knots! The turn can be harness via uneven leg straps(harness turn) with a good canopy overhead Been spun up on my back on a highly loaded eliptical(2.4+) watched the lines and kicked out successfully.

    Not trying to persuade either way but I gave up my golf membership and my sportbikes when I got back in this sport. I still have my clubs incase I want to go back! I can blow off jumping and play golf any weekend if requird! Don't sell your gear!! Yet!!!! Blue Skies, Conway

    Sorry Tom if this a new loss. Fortunately in my time in sport, I have known only 2 people that have passed from equipment malfunctions, all the rest of the deaths or injuries have all come from pilot error, the closest to me was a very conservative rigger under a huge canopy that just put himself in a bad situation and made an error in judgement that ultimately cost him his life. Fly free Tommy.

    Having helped my vidiographer, Rico. I have sold the reserve for $750 to Kirstin Johnson and the cut off container to Randall Barlow for $500, both from here. The family is appreciative for the $ as he recovers. Thanks for all the prayers. Peace, Conway PS, the Crossfire is still on sale !

    Scream away if it makes you feel better!! But think about this!! If I were to start hanging out with a girl from her work all the time she would be pissed anybody would I just think there are certain boundries that shouldn't be crossed if the person has any morales or respect for you. I wouldn't take a date out to dinner at her work because that's just shitty. No need to get all worked up. and it's not really the her hanging out with him it was the lying about it. You broke it off in her and with her. Yes it would be shitty for u because you broke up with her unless that's why you broke up with her and if that's the reason then she is a POS herself.

Well I think I'd still be alittle salty, I think it would show no class. If the situation were reversed I wouldn't hook up with somebody she worked with... IMO. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It isn't that you can't get mad...just that you really have no say in what she does anymore. I am certainly not saying that what she did was right either...kinda shitty if you ask me. This is a discussion that I am adament about. If YOU broke up with HER, YOU have nothing to say about WHO SHE hooks up with because YOU gave up!
