One week until the start of the Flyboyz Film Festival. Online Pre-registration is now closed but registration is open at the DZ from now until the end of the Festival. See Manifest at Perris for Registration. I have it on good authority that some really cool stuff will be happening all week and you don't want to miss this one. If you've never been to one of the Flyboyz events, I can guarantee you won't be disappointed. www.flyboyz.com Rhonda

It was filmed in the San Juan Islands in Washington. There is a pretty long piece of footage from it on Kent's Willing to Fly video. Rhonda

Eight bottles of wine. DUDE!!!! I know what you mean about the house. Richard and I just bought a house in Kirkland. Wish I could say it was new. It was built in 1956 but you know how expensive houses are over here. I love it though. We could have bought twice the house for the same amount of money if we wanted to go out 15 - 20 miles to the east but my commute is hellish enough as it is. Rhonda

Hey Dave, Sorry to hear that. I know what you are going through. It happened to me last December and as a result, I know have to drive from Kirkland to Tacoma every day. Now that Sucks! Come on over to the west side and look for a job. What do you do anyway? Rhonda

I had this pull toy that was a giant hippo. When you pulled it it opened it's mouth really wide and made this load "Hippoish" sound. My brother was terrified of it. Gosh I miss that thing! R

Like everything else in life, everyone has their own opinion. After I broke my femur a few years ago, I ended up being so out of align that I walked with a limp 3 years later. The problem was that my hip on the side that the break was on was an inch and half higher than the hip on the other side (probably because of the rod and the fact that I spent so much time favoring that leg) after 3 months of seeing a chiropractor 3 times a weeks it's almost back in perfect alignment and I don't limp anymore. Also, my daughter had pretty severe scholisis and the chiropractor has almost completely straightened her spine out. I'm sure there are bad chiropractors, just like there are bad medical doctors. My biggest beef with the medical profession these days is, due to the fact that there are not enough doctors for the demand you spend 45 minutes in a waiting room, 20 minutes in the exam room waiting and when the doctor actually shows up, he spends a total of 3 minutes with you, charges you a fortune and then just prescribes some drugs that you probably didn't even need anyway. Most don't really take the time to really find the real cause of your problem. Just my 2 cents. Rhonda

Check this out. This is funny. Pardon me if it's been posted before. Mind-Altering Energy Drink Turns Senior High Bible Study Into Godless Sex Orgy http://www.landoverbaptist.org/news0903/redbull.html "We knew kids were getting high off this legal crack in a can," said Dr. Edwards. "We also knew that since the product was released here in Iowa, the rate of teenage pregnancies skyrocketed. And many pediatricians have reported seeing seriously calloused penises - a sign that some local men were masturbating at dangerously high speeds. The drug community calls it speed jacking..." Rhonda

Does anyone know if there is one and what the URL is? Thanks Rhonda

Maybe we'll see you at the hearing. We are buying a house so it depends on closing date. Let's hope it works out in there favor. I certainly hope they don't have to close. But they will probably just move elsewhere. They've been in business too long to just give up. Do you ever hear from Lora? I had coffee with her a few weeks ago. She seems to be doing well. C'ya. I've noticed a lot in the past few years that smokers, in general, have become more considerate of non-smokers. Not all of them but most. I remember one time when a smoker friend of mine got really pissed off at me and called me all sorts of names because I told she could not smoke in my car. She could either live with not smoking for the 3 hours it was going to take to get where we were going or she could get off her lazy ass and drive her own car where she had every right to smoke. We talked about it serveral times after that and she still maintained that I was being a selfish bitch. Maybe I was but that's my right. I no longer talk to this person for reason's other than the smoking issue and thank God I haven't run into anyone else like that. I remember reading a joke a long time ago. In the 80's that went something like this. Please don't get offended but it is funny. You like to smoke. The residue of your pleasure is smoke that smells bad and gets on my closes and in my hair. I like to drink beer. The residue of my pleasure is piss. How would you like it if I stood up and pissed on your head. One more thing. I know how hard it is to stop smoking. My parents were both smokers and I remember when they were quitting. It was really hard on them. Luckily, they did it together and were able to suceed. I've seen many more try and try and try and not be able to kick the habit. Rhonda

Memorial Day 1999. Elsinore at a PD Free For All. A dust devil took me out at 15 feet. I have a video of it because my husband landed before me and videoing my landing. I was lucky it was a clean break and 3 months later I was walking without crutches (although I still have a slight limp today). I remember being on the field cracking jokes. The thing that I remember the most about that day is, one of my friends stood by me and watched the paramedics cut off my $300.00 jump suit and my $2,000.00 rig with no reaction and totally freaked when they started to cut off my $20.00 Old Navy Cargo pants. That and my husband passing out in the hospital. I had the rod removed in November of 2000. Living in Seattle with all the rain and dampness in the winter, I couldn't deal with the constant knawing ache. Rhonda

One thing about raising cows, pigs, chickens, etc for consumption in the US. Have you ever seen any of the farms where they are raised? Cows packed into pastures so tight that they can't move, dying and being left in the fields. Chickens packed into boxes with 40 other chickens with their beaks and toenails cut off so they can't peck each other and damage the meat. Besides the fact that it's just cruel to the animals, it can't possibly be a healthy condition to raise meat that we are going to feed our nation. And no I didn't get this information from some propaganda brochure (although I know they are out there), I have seen these places and have a nephew that works in a chicken factory. I have nothing against eating meat if that is what you want to do. I suppose that goes for countries that eat dog, cat and horses. Freedom of choice and all but please don't send our dogs, cats and horses, etc there to be slaughtered. R -
